A judge in Toronto had a christmas tree removed from public veiwing in the court house. She thought some people may find it offensive.
This is a country for free speach and now they want us to stop saying Merry christmas because many find that offensive If we cant say or celebrate the holdays the way we want and know how what are we instilling into our children.

I am 29 and married to the man of my dreams. We have been waiting to have children (finances, fun, etc...) I am having a crisis because I want so badly to have children and I have just been recommended for the job of my dreams. If I take it, I will have to make a two year commitment (it includes working on my Master's Degree--and I have to be employed for the program).

My goal has always been to be home with my children until they are school age. I missed my mom growing up, and I intend to give up everything necessary in order to be home with them.

What would you do in my situation...put a hold on the job (and possibly miss the opportunity) or put off having children to accomplish this task??

Anybody make a similar decision and have regrets??

i have a 1987 dodge dakota 3.9 V6 and its running like crap. it didnt run great to begin with before but not as bad as it is now. the motor has no power at all and i struggle getting up hills and accelerating and sometimes when i get on the gas it stutters and sounds like it is going to die and the rpms wont go high at all. when i rev the motor while it is in park it isnt loud and powerfull sounding like it was before its quite and weak like its not running to its best. i was just wondering what could be up with it.. any ideas?

Mine is an old church that my parents bought many years ago. It has a red glow within, lighting up the church windows . I imagined so much about that church and the "people in it". As a child I always knew Christmas could start when this was brought out. It plays "Silent Night" if you wind it up.

ok so thers this girl i used to be friends with. but i kinda told her i didnt want to be her friend anymore (she got mad at me for being friends with someone else besides her). anyways, she went out with this guy for like,2 days and he figured out he didnt really like her and his friends didnt like her AT ALL because she would act all bragg-ish and she would cling to him, so he dumped her (and then she started screaming bloody murder at him and tried to slap him). so now im dating him and we really like eachother, but now shes trying to get all my friends to hate me (which isint working) and shes come up to me and said "oh hes going to dump you because his friends are all going to hate you and youre not as pretty as i am" (he doesnt think that its true). But its compleately not true, because im good friends with all of his friends and they all like me.... and she keeps calling him a looser and stuff on the bus and it makes me REALLY mad... how do i get her to stop
