If an event that defies all laws physics, thermo-dynamics, etc is happening while you watch, what emotions does that conjure with in you?

Awe, wonder, amazement, excitement. Basically "this is some crazy stuff."
And for the guy above me: If they can happen in your head, what if we're all living in God's head?

it makes me sad that people take what is written in outdated books when there was an inability to understand natural events and consequently turn them into something supernatural.

this occurred a lot in the dark ages right up to the 18th century. wizards and magicians were relatively commonplace in the dark ages and the witch trilas (based on their understanding to the bible were also justified. it makes me sad that in the modern day, we understand a lot more but people refuse to consider it.

I think everything (even the spiritual and seemingly unexplainable) is logical...we just haven't learned how it all works yet.
