I have completed my bsc degree in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University. I am thinking of applying for Australia CPA ... how can i find out whether my degree is qualified for the australia CPA?? also, if i want to apply for the cpa membership, do i have to retake for some examination to qualify for that? Will it help if i am using Australia CPA to apply for Australia PR in the future?

We think that my uncle has him, my brother. My uncle abused my brother for years, and last night broke out of jail. Do abusers usually come after their victims if they get put in jail?

He hasn't been seen since last night. The police are going to start searching for him soon. In the mean time my dad is not treating my other brother right, he hit him once out of stress (which he apologized for) and once 'on accident.' I'm really worried for my brother, although he is 15 he never has pulled any stunts like this before, and he has gotten several death threats from my uncle (which I have found and given to the police.)

I want to search for my brother, but my mom is freaked out. I know my dad will be searching, so will my efforts be better at home? What should I do, is there anything I need to know to tell the police? HELP!

Hi:

I am preparing for a divorce with my wife. I have not informed her yet and would like to make sure my financial situation is not ruined by the divorce. We have been married for 4 years (in California) and both still reside here. We have no community property together other than the household goods. My question is, if I purchase an apartment overseas (register under my parents' names) with money from my personal account, will that be considered community property?

I know I should consult a professional lawyer at some point but just wanted to get a sense of what the likely answer is. Many thanks!
