My father has not spoken to me in about 5 years. Reason being I left home to go off to school. He was very upset with the fact that I went against his wishes, that were to stay at home and attend school. It's been 5 years since I have been able to spend a holiday with my family. My mother & I see each other once a week, b/c that's all we can work with. I made the attempt to go over to their home yesterday and try to repatch things up but before I could get there he was already cussing me out and saying that I wasnt welcomed. I dont want his aproval or his love I just want to be apart of my family again. The funny thing is he tells coworkers that he has a great relationship with me and that he has been putting me through school which is a total lie.

Should I give up?

*Ok,I stole this question from a guy but am curious to know what people think from the girls perspective...
"Sometimes I get a bit frustrated that my partner doesn't have a very high sex drive. I KNOW that sex isn't everything but it should at least be something. The only problem is that I just want it all the time and not even all the time but maybe 2 or 3 times a week...?? I'm 20 and he's 24; we've been together for almost a year. I know it's annoying to him and anytime I suggest it i get an "oh great" attitude so we don't do anything. It's just really frustrating for me, because I know he spends ALOT of time on his laptop looking at "stuff" and yet we never do anything. He said once that i was too easy.. but when I can get it I wanna take it, right? I have MANY appealing features and he always says he's lucky and I am SO HOT! I LOVE to try new things... but i've noticed lately that we only do anything when he's been drinking so then I start to second guess what he thinks of ME.

i heard riding a ferry to the statue of liberty and the Ellis island was a pain in the butt. Do i have to wait long even if i catch the first ferry and get the tickets online? Is there only one ferry that goes directly to statue of liberty and Ellis island or are there more options? If i'm planning on catching the first ferry and buying tickets online, how long do you think i will have to wait? i'm going on Dec. 18th by the way.
