Umm... It can provide food, protection and economic prosperity from the sale of ammunition, firearms, opening of stores, and recreational places such as skeet. Cost to the state will always be there whether it was commited with a firearm, car, or a whacko with a knife.

Guns in and of themselves don't effect communities.

It is the lawful right of honest citizens to defend themselves and carry guns that makes a difference.

There is a common factor all across the USA. When honest citizens carry firearms, crime is low. Where citizens are prevented from carrying firearms, crime is high.

Guns don't make the difference. Honest citizens carrying firearms do.

There is a little humor that illustrates this point:
What is the next to the last thing a rapist fears hearing?
Answer: "Stop or I'll shoot!"

Try working on the spelling or using the spell check next time. I bet there's a direct correlation between gun use and poor spellers!
