I have heard before, and am aware that much of the older japan is a windy bunch of roads that are unlabled and unnamed. Is this true of all of japan?
Where I lived in Hokkaido it is set out all in grid system and you can buy mapbooks that have VERY detailed maps, all the way down to the outline of the house and gararge/carport and even has the names printed on them. Are the other parts of Japan like that? Or just the newer areas... I would be interested to know
They are not free, you have to buy them. We always had them, and most business have them. Its handy for looking for someone because all you need to know is the area and family name. If you know the fathers name, you can find the house perfectly.

Hi,

I am a Japanese and live in Japan having worked in the graphic design industry.
In here, most of the workers in this industry work for over 14~16 hours everyday (and sometimes all night) and, in most cases, employees don't get paid for the extra hours.
It's common knowledge in Japan that a designer usually has to work longer, harder and a salary is lower than other jobs and thus some workers change their jobs as they can't find hope in their future so to speak.
Of course there're some exceptions, like getting a high salary or don't have to work for that long etc.., but it's quite few.

And I wonder if design firms in other countries (like in the U.S.) also work this hard or...?

Any opinions or information would be appreciated.

anyone who answers brad pitt, angelina jolie, tom cruise, or any of the "obvious" ones, will suffer the consequences. and that would be getting sat on by an elephant with irritable bowel syndrome.

we were very close friends who did everything together like bestfriends, that's how i saw our relationship. But he liked me as in more than bestfriends. I knew that but I did'nt see him in that way. So this other guy comes along who I thought was more of my type, I recently had a baby by him and he's nothing what I expected. Now I'm missing the things me and the other guy use to do together. would you tell the other guy how ur feeling not saying for the reason of trying to get with him but can he forgive u and continue being friends?

Most Athiests here are guilt ridden or hate themselves. They are either trying to justify their beliefs and soothe their conscience, or they ask questions that produce insults to rationalize their lack of self worth.

Which one are you? When I was an athiest I hated myself.

I admit my mind is closed, so "educating people" is no good answer. If it isnt from the Bible, we dont want it.

Satan can only enter minds not hearts...I know the truth and shut my mind up since. Jesus said to Judas "open your eyes and your heart....not your mind"

Just fishing.....am I warm or WAY off?? Self hate...or conscience?

I certianly admit..I have been wrong before. If I am wrong, its ok. If not, perhaps I have helped you get honest, and you will seek help!
I hate the sin, but I love the sinner. All religious and non religious are sinners. Hate me if you wish. But I love you and want to help you come to awareness. I am a psych grad BTW. I feel many hurting souls here.

Blessings,
David

I'm in a relationship, we've been together for about nine months. Right now, I am not sure if being in a relationship is the right thing for me. I feel I have some other issues I need to work on, dealing with the deaths of two close people and other personal issues. Is it a bad thing to take a break and deal with these issues and once they've been dealt with, possibly continue our relationship? Or am I just better off breaking up and ending it. My idea for the break is to set a 3-4 month time limit and once that time is up, sit down with each other and see if we can make our relationship work or not. I have no intention to go out and date, I specifically need some "me" time. Please give me some advice/opinions.
