What's wrong with parties? Get wasted? Why not just slit your throat and get it over with?

Don' know what's Christian-like; but, in a Baha'i sense--you're just on a path of, at least self-destruct--if not self and others-destruct. So sorry for you, Dude. I spent my 20s doing all that you desribe. If I'd continued the road I was on, I'd've been dead a long time ago, damaging a lot of people along with me. Thank God, by 29, I woke up and smelled the roses. Life's been growing in unbelievability, ever since. It just keeps getting better and better.

Believe it or not--life has a purpose--and you're not fulfillingit--which means when this world is over--it's over--for you.

You're like a baby in the womb of its mother that's refusing to grow physically. When it's born, it's born physically handicapped.

This world is the womb of the next existence--and if we're not growing our spiritual attributes--our spiritual eyes, ears, arms, legs--loving-kindness, mercy, generosity, compassion, etc., we're going to be born spiritually handicapped into the next existence--or dead compared to those who have spiritual life. Our hell will be knowing we could have been growing spiritually, here, and didn't. This is the only world of God in which we have the choice--whethr to grow, or not. Our vehicle for functioning in the next existence is spiritual. If we didn't grow it, we'll be unable to function there.

Get smart B4 it's too late.

God bless you (and me).

There is nothing wrong with going to parties or doing crazy stuff so long as you are being decent and the crazy stuff are not sins, neither in Christianity nor in any other religion.

From an Islamic point of view, we are asked to be cheerful and light. Trying new things, even if crazy, adds up to your experience. That is OK since you are not sinning.

Peace

Getting wasted, yes! As long as you don't go seriously overboard with anything! You can do that stuff, just as long as you know what the Lord wants of you!

As long as you do it in the name of the Lord it's OK.
