I live for it! I usually carry a notebook around at all times but when I do not have one I merely write on my hand. I mostly write poetry but if I start writing on a topic that I really know or can discuss my pen just does my thinking! I have never actually had to THINK about writing, I just do it. That's how natural it is for me to write. I have been know to write three or four pages more than I am supposed to in school. I have also failed assignments because my teacher disagreed so strongly with my work! Now typing on the other hand... Well, let's just say that I took a while to type this. I prefer the old fashioned "write it out and shove it down the teachers' throat" method. :-)

I LOVE to write! Whenever I sit down with pen and paper, or type on the computer, I always let my imagination wonder, and write down the first things I think of. I write down what I would love to read, and what interests me..like fantasy or adventure. I like to add a lot of details about my characters, so those who are readers could actually be there "with" the characters as they go about their lives in stories. I create a whole new "world" of people, places, and things that I can see in my mind's eye, and share with the rest of the world. As I once heard from someone: (I forgot whom) "I believe anyone can write, but it takes someone special to be a writer." Good luck to other writers out there!
