I know that China is an officially atheist, communist country. I was wondering is what role do local religions, Buddhism, Daoism and Confucism still play in Chinese life? Several Chinese people that I have met believe in reincarnation, a Buddhist idea. How common is this? Also, what role do new religions, as well as Christianity and Islam play in China?

I have read that the old testament is intact, what about the new one/? No offense- I've looked it up, but I find the best bet is to ask actual christians questions. They seem to know more about their own faith. thanks

The story - I met this guy and his buddy a couple weeks ago after the bar, we went out (his buddy & my girlfriend) had a BLAST! Two days later we all went out again, again, had a blast and I stayed over. Couple days later - again, same thing....then that weekend I just hung out at his house and watched TV with two more of his friends - it was OK, had fun, but I didnt know how to act around these new people, so I guess I was a little reserved...but still got a good night kiss when I left...but now its been 4 days and I havnt heard from him. Do guys really play this 'game' where they dont want to call and seem anxious, etc? He had instigated everything before - and now Im at a loss...so I called last night and he didnt answer his cell...will he call? what do you think? Hes really nice! his friends are cool and we had a super super time...Dont want the fun to stop now!!!!

Delta Airlines have done it again! A woman nursing her child was removed from the flight. Maybe she should have put fake blood on her breast and smeared it on her and the child. Perhaps that would have been more "natural"?

i think they do cause im not a gaurdian and evey time i try to get on it says the the free spots of 15000 is full then i try agin later and theres only 12945 players and it says the free spots of 12000 is full then with 10000 also so i think they scam u into becoming a gaurdian

My bf abused me in june coz he saw me dancing with another guy. He broke up n told me im a cheap gurl along with abuses . then he stopped contacting me. But after a month he started contacting through text mesgs. Again not very pleasant mesgs. but now on 14th nov he again abused me as he kept asking me through text mesgs if i had gone on a date with another guy. But i kept silent and he again abused me through mesgs tht im a prostitute. He told me he wants to slap me n abuse me . When 2 mesgs were sent by chance to him by me, He abused me n mesgd tht if another mesg i send...he will break my hands n abused me. Why does he abuse me???I replied tht im very much scared of him n to keep away from me . He considers me to be a very cheap gurl whereas i was with my parents when he thought me to be dating with some guy as his friends told him so. He only trusts his friends n they keep telling him im bad. He is silent since 15 days now. WILL SUCH A GUY TRY TO CONTACT OR TEXT MESG ME AGAIN???

My friend has an 11 week old Pomeranian (4lb) and I have a JR x Shihtzu (8lb) who is 4 months. My dog is generally fantastic with other dogs, but for some reason keeps wanting to bite the Pom and is growling at him. Weve tried calming both dogs down and giving them treats when behaving well etc. but every now and then the Pom will annoy him and he'll be aggressive with him. Its more than just puppy play, and we've tried intorducing them on neautral ground. The pom seems to be quite indifferent, but the Jr x finds it hard to relax when he's near! Ive asked a similar question before about this prob. Also ive been mostly keeping them both on leads (which I know isnt ideal) but I cant trust my dog to be OK with this tiny pup.

I created an install package and placed it on the Internet at www.GainesTrader.com. A friend downloaded the package and installed the program on his computer. When he tries to run the application he gets the error:

Object variable or With block variable not set

I downloaded and installed the program to my computer and it works. How can I debug the problem my friend is getting? Is it because I am using some component that he doesn't have installed on his computer like Microsoft Excel or Microsoft XML?
