An amusing story.....
When the red cross knocked on our door to ask for money, we gave them some small change in the value of about 20 dollars.
Then about a minute later I noticed a few 10's and a 50 in our front yard. First offI thought WOW THIS ROCKS but then realised that the red cross people had probably dropped it.
I saw them at the end of the street and I ran after them. They must have thought I would rob them so they started running away.
I chased them for about 500 metres before they stopped and were getting ready to fight me, so I tried as quickly as I could to explain what had happened. They realised I was legit and so I gave them the money which they thanked me for and walked off with.
It was a very fun/interesting/weird predicament!
And true story no BullShi*

All the time!!
I donate to Children's Hospital; One through my church; and I am going to probably start donating to St. Jude. I just have to check out a few things about them first.
I want to start volunteering again, but I can't find a place around here that seems legit and focuses on the concerns/areas that I want to help with.

I always donate to Goodwill, as well as shop there! I participate in Relay for Life and Walk America. Whenever I see someone outside the store ringing a bell, I give whatever cash I happen to have - actually I have my kids do it so they can participate in giving, too! Whenever kids come door to door selling, I try to buy at least one or two items. We also participate yearly in the Operation Christmas Child. . .

a buck or two here and there, when I can, I don't exactly have much to give at this point in my life.
Make a wish foundation!
I wish I had the time to volunteer. I would like one day to be in a position that I do not need to work and can do volunteer work.

Sure do...
My husband and I both give to our schools foundations to help fund scholarships.
We also donate to Heifer Project International. It helps impoverished families worldwide become more self-reliant through the gift of livestock and training in their care.
