I am really interested in Neurology and doing research in that field but the school I'm going to now doesn't have a neuroscience program. My major is currently Chemistry. Will that give me enough background to get into a good Neuroscience graduate program?

I've been transferred to a front of desk / reception position in a hotel where I am working temporarily. My hair is below collar but not shoulder length. They've said it's not a problem, but I have to wear it tied up into a ponytail. Problem is that my fine hair keeps coming out of the ponytail band which they don't like since they say it looks "scruffy." How do I make a "neater" ponytail and keep my hair in it? I really don't want to cut it for what is only a temporary job.

I'm breastfeeding my 2 and half mo old baby and I'm planning to do so. We are invited to a party this saturday, I have babysitter, but - baby won't take the bottle! I have enough milk stored and I'm trying to get herv used to a bottle, but somehow it's not working out. It seems she doesn't know how to suck on the bottle - she can't latch on it. I tried different nipples too. She would go for hours screaming from hunger rather than take the bottle. What can I do??? Are there some special nipples resembling breast ('cause it seems the nipple is the problem - she cant put her mouth in proper position and keeps trying to suck wide open and kind of bites on it like it's breast...)?? Somebody had this problem? And what did you do? Please don't tell me to just stay home - if it's not now, eventually I will wanna get out for a day so I really need to figure this out.

P.S. She knew how to drink from bottle when she was newborn...

Or is it sight prospective angle as the earth rotates that allows us to see more than 50%? Could it be the earths atmosphere that bends light waves like a pencil in a glass of water. The moon looks larger near the horizon, (looking through the most atmosphere) Does the atmosphere also distort the actual position or other heavenly body's? Does the HST have to veiw a star at a different position, than a telescope on earth for the same star?

I saw a program about Chernobyl and it said that the actual effect of the radiation was grossly exaggerated. Is this true? I thought it was supposed to cause cancer but apparently it was proved that small doses decrease the amount of deaths from cancer in small mammals.

I did wonder whether this was kind of influenced by the UK government who think we should have more nuclear power stations.

My daughter gave me an impatiens for mothers day last year and it had blossoms on it at the time. Since then (1 1/2 years) it hasn't had any blossoms on it, though it has grown quite a bit. I've moved it into a larger pot, gave it Miracle Grow, left it alone, picked off the dead leaves....still no blossoms....please help!
