depends on the type of paint, if its acrylic...well then time for new curtains, unless its thick enough that you can let it dry and pick it off.
If its oil based you can use a little tiny bit o turpentine. then wash as tags direct.
Oh yeah and if it is oil based and it leaves an oil spot, use dish washing soap to get the oil spot out.

You can remove paint stains by wiping it with any solvent that dissolves paint like discel, alcohol petrol etc.
