Why can't I meet a real man--who has a stable job, keeps a clean apartment and doesn't smoke pot???!!! It seems they are are all so juvenile...grr....

i'm with ya on this one. i totally agree. when i ask this question to a friend of mine. all she said was maybe i'm looking in all the wrong places....but here is a question, where are we too look if they are all the same?!

Real men come in all shapes, sizes, jobs, etc. Would you prefer someone who is messy and smokes pot, or someone who'll beat the crap out of you? And trust me when I say, Stable Jobs and clean apartments does NOT make a "real" man. I had one and he was the worse thing I've ever met in my life. I'm now engaged with someone who'll help me clean up our apartment, but is normally a slob and he smokes pot and loves me for who I am and I wouldn't trade him for anything in this world and most definitely not my ex, the "stable job, millions in the bank, and a clean freak - who also preferred pulling down his zipper for any floozy that walks by rather than have sex with me all because he figured his money would keep me".

NB... I think every woman in the world has this issue at some point in their life.
Try dating an older guy. I don't know how old you are, so I can't give you suggestions on age.. but as we all know, guys don't mature as fast as girls. Try finding someone 5-8 years older than you are (unless you're like 16 or something...then you'll just have to wait).
Also, try seeking men out in new places. Don't go to the same hangout, with the same people. That'll give you the opportunity to meet new and different men. Good luck! ;)

I know I'm a man and shouldn't be here but not all of us are like that, the reason why you can't find a good one is because it's not them it's you, you are too negative and the more you keep bashing us the more it will happen

You may not get all the good qualities at one place - it is the secret of nature. Can U imagine roses without thorns. You may have to compromise some where some time. Earlier the better.

Where are you meeting these guys? That's one thing you need to look at. It seems every guy I meet has commitment issues and can't get serious. I swear if conditions don't improve I'm going to start looking for a girlfriend!

Hey! i just cleaned my appartment on sat! and what am i doing now...working...and i dont smoke pot even though my friends do...I am a winner! but the reason why you cant meet us real men is because we are tought to find (cuz we are cleaning our appartments or working haha)

But where are you looking? That has a lot to do with it. In my part of the woods its seems to be the other way around... Guys around here are looking for a nice girls who won't play games and knows what she wants...

you seem to be looking for guys in the wrong places so just be patient and let the great guys find you because i know there are great guys that are looking for a great girl like you. so yea just be patient and dont go looking to hard because you are looking to hard. Good Luck!!
