Study Claims Iraq's 'Excess' Death Toll Has Reached 655,000

A team of American and Iraqi epidemiologists estimates that 655,000 more people have died in Iraq since coalition forces arrived in March 2003 than would have died if the invasion had not occurred.

The estimate, produced by interviewing residents during a random sampling of households throughout the country, is far higher than ones produced by other groups, including Iraq's government.

I am 28 years old and have been suffering from panic attacks/anxiety for 8 years. I have never told my doctor but I think it was induced by taking illegal drugs. I was taking ecstasy, cocaine, cannabis, speed, diazepan, alchohol etc for about 4 years every weekend and one night i was smoking a joint and to put it mildly I freaked right out. I have never touched illegal drugs since then and have been taking Anti Depressants and Valium etc since. I have never told my doctor what I think brought all this on and now wonder if its worth going back to him and telling him? Presumably the medication that he has been giving me for all this time is the same stuff I would be getting regardless of the catylyst?

My panic attacks are less frequent now however I still suffer from bad anxiety and am the most stressed out person in the world (it feels like that anyway) I have spoke to a Psychiatrist, a Psycholgist and they have never helped one bit. Any other similar experiences out there?

Original post: I've been dating this guy for about 2 months. Last night we were watching a movie and he wanted to have sex. For the first time I said no, that I just wanted to watch the movie. He got up and said he was going home. I thought he was joking but he actually left. Now I don't know what to think. I called him about a half an hour later and couldn't believe he was really home. I asked why he left and he said that he didn't want to interrupt me during the movie. What gives. I'm so confused.

Update: I spoke with him yesterday morning. I told him how he made me feel and he apologized. Said he didn't mean to make me feel that way. That from my reaction he didn't feel I wanted him here so he left. I accepted his apology but didn't call him for the rest of the day and he didn't call me either. Why apologize than not call later? He's got his laptop and some other things here. Why not at least call to get these things? Men, I just don't get them.

I believe that the word evolution is misunderstood and not used in it's proper context, and I think the word Change would be more applicable, and here is why. Our universe is constanly changing (evolving),galaxies collide, stars are born and some die, on our planet changes have been taking place from the beginning of the planet viruses change (evolve) so they become resistant to medicine , insects become immune to insecticide over time (evolve) in order to survive. There is so much evidence of change (evolution) around us and throughout the universe, why is change (evolution) rejected by so many? It appears that change (evolution) is the one constant througout the universe.

well, ok, basically.. there this guy and he is 24 years old and i told him i'm 16 because every one says i look abvout 19.. but thats only on webcam.. and i only know him over the net and don't u dare say anything about meeting people off the net! because i met him from one of my mates sisters who knows him.. so i know he's not a perv lol but the thing is im actually 13 (14 in may) and i swore to myself i would tell him before we started getting to close.. but you may say i've got many years left in my life to find a decent boyfriend but there's always one special person in your life and its him!
but nehoo.. he asked me out and i said yeh and wants to meet me but then he'll see i'm really 13 and i know i HAVE to tell him or just refuse to meet him but i cant...

I have 2 rats and i'm scared to pick them up. I'm not scared of them, I have tickled their belly and things but when i try to pick them up they run away out my hand. Does anyone have any tips to pick them up??
