I am a parent of 2 boys,15 and 5 yr. old. Feb.4,2006 I allowed them to go with relatives of mine.( w/doubt) For super bowl weekend. I ask my sister to not have my kids at, a known pedephiles home. She told me where they would be, and what they would be doing. I agreed under those conditions to let them go with her. I called everyday to see if everything was ok. The last day, which was the 6th. I called her cell to see when she was bringing the boys home. I got no answer. I called to the house where I said they could not visit. Sure enough, she had took my 15yr. old to the movie. My 5yr. old was there along with her 4 children all under 10yrs. of age. I went off, I called her cell and left the message stating, this is why I don't have my chldren with them. And My oldest son is in deep trouble, a** cuttin time! She would not return my calls. My Mom called me 4 times, saying calm down. I told her if they don't get my children back home where they belong. All hell will break loose!

I am a 27 y/o male that has just noticed dark purple stretch marks on my thighs. I'm not overweight..... I'm 5'10" 170lbs........ can't figure out why I'm getting stretch marks. I thought only pregnant women got stretch marks.

Once in a while I sit back and wonder what my 10 year old self would think about how my life turned out. I think this is a fairly decent yardstick as it quickly illustrates the compromises I have made in my life.

I had a girlfriend who would go do mushrooms alone in nature and look at her life.

I've seen believers (mainly Christians believers) say things that give me the feeling they don't know what is fiction and what is reality. Take for example the "DaVinci Code," this is a work of fiction but i've seen so many Christians go absolutely ape over it. Same thing with Harry potter... They believe that if kids read these fictional stories they will somehow be empowered to cast spells and fly on brooms.

The catalyst for this question was an answer to another question* that asked if anyone had actually seen god. The answer made reference to the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and said that if you saw god your face would melt off.

*This may have been a joke answer but in it's context it seemed serious, it's really hard to tell sometimes on Y!A.

can record phone conversations using the built in voice recorder why cant u record songs off the radio? im more than sure that u can get software or configure it to record songs off the radio. I already tried the obvious and had a song playing from the fm radio and i went to the voice recorder and pressed record and it didnt record it!!! al that happend was the song stoped playing! so if some one has a way to do this that would be great! or if there is a way to add an mp3 player or xm or sirius radio that can record songs from the xm or sirius radio that would be great!

Anyways im a junior in high school. i really like this one girl, but shes a freshman. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but I'm probably getting a scholarship to whatever college im going to so i would only be home for another year.

My son's best friend has a child who was abused by a non-family member, and is in a hospital on the other side of the state, suffering from a brain bleed (shaken baby syndrome).

The child is not yet 2 years old, this a most difficult time for his family, and I can only imagine what this poor boy is going through.

Those of you who pray, will you do so for his family,and for him?

Those of you who don't, will you keep him in your thoughts?
