OK, I am embarrased to admit it. I am 33 & never cooked Thanksgiving dinner before. My mom and m-i-l etc have always cooked meals so I never had the need to learn. So, how old are you and who does your cooking for the big meal?

a few weeks ago my husband was involved in a car accident, the other driver was given the ticket at the scene of the accident, and my husband concerened with the other drivers condition called an ambulance for her. well when i called to file a claim with her insurance company i find out her policy has been cancelled, so i file the claim under my uninsured motorist. well now come to find out the other driver is being represented by an attorney and claiming bodily injury. Is it possible for her to win anything being that she was the one who recieved the ticket at the accident and my husband did not recieve any citations or anything?

Okay I have asked tons of silly questions, but this is the only 2nd real question that I have asked and needed real help...so

I know my Merlot and Chardonnays really well...I got the right California wine for tomorrow's Thanksgiving dinner...but I want to get a good Italian Chianti.. what are some good brands that are sold here in the US of a good Italian Chianti to go with turkey, ham, eggplant parmesan, and vegetables and trimmings?

My girlfriend is arriving by bus tomorrow, and I want to give her a rose when she gets here. I won't have time to get one in the morning, so I'll have to buy it tonight. I want it to look bright and fresh when I give it to her, as if I had purchased it moments before. What can I do to keep it fresh? Any additional advice for when I'm sitting around at the bust station after the hour ride there would also help.

We have a different health care system in Canada, where if sick we call the doctor and the expense is paid by the government. How, is it where you live? If you must pay out of your own pocket do you delay medical care? What does a person do who has a serious stroke and must pay? Please share your experience. The reason I am asking is I have noticed many people ask questions about health care concerns that I feel they should just take to their doctors, but if they have to pay it may be a hardship.

Met this really nice guy and saw each other for a while. He went away for a few weeks and communication dried up. I contacted him on return and still didnt really hear anything. I thought to myself move on and forget it, a week passed and ive had a message saying he was sorry for not being in touch and has had stuff going on in his head. Wot does this mean is it just a polite way of saying he doesnt want to see me again? why did he get back in touch and just not leave things?
