yes you can continue with ur exercise as long as you go easy on the ab work, there is no need to give it up. What is ur programme like do u push weights? or do u do just a normal programme for fitness and a few light weights.
What you should do is seek advice from one of the personal trainers in the gym as they have experience and knowledge in this area. I carried on with all my gym work plus horse riding (well i stopped that once i couldnt get on any more) but thats me, I would not suggest that to you or anybody else, but just showing you that being pregnant is not the end of the world, besides the fitter you are the easier the birth!!
good luck

I have done A LOT of research into this subject and spoken with personal trainers who are experts on this.
There is no reason why you can't carry on exercising. Just make sure you don't get too hot, and maybe avoid swimming because all the chemicals have been linked to miscarriage.
It will do you and your baby good if you exercise. I have exercised throughout my pregnancy so far, and at 18 weeks I don't even look pregnant yet, I feel great and have only gained 4 pounds!

You can keep doing anything you did before you were pregnant. Just take EXTRA caution not to over heat. Take breaks before you start sweating, and drink much MUCH more fluid than you usually would.
But all doctors, unless you're an at risk pregnancy, will encourage you to keep up your prenatal activities while pregnant. Especially exercise.
You do however want to avoid lifting, and eventually (usually after the first trimester) ab exercises.

This is Thinkpink4u101.
I think you still can do exercis but no more abs and weight just don't do those exercises until you give birth. The best is yoga or meditating exercises are good for the baby.
So Good Luck 2 U & Ur New Baby!!!!

Yes, you can keep exercising just make sure that it is all low impact. Drink plenty of water and don't do anything that will raise your heart rate too high. Congratulations!

walking is the best exercise. That's what I did when I was preggars. I would walk around the mall or the park. No vigorous exercises though.
