Neither party seems to stand for anything. Both burn your tax money like it was firewood. Both limit your freedoms. Never has it been more true that, "If Government is the answer - it must be a pretty stupid question."

So why don't Americans wake up and realize that for every dollar they pay in taxes, they get maybe 10 cents in benefits? Why don't they figure out that every new law just adds to the cost of government? Government is the biggest employer in the country - but it doesn't produce anything but misery.

Followup question: Is it time for a second revolution?

i keep getting this error every once in a while when i close a page

I’m really no big fan of Gibson, but he was drunk. Although I do think that is what he feels. Call it intuition. Yet when Richards tells an audience member at a show :

People say he did not mean it. Why? Is it more acceptable to slur African Americans than be anti Semitic?

Hi,

I just bought a pair of glasses but when I wear them and look down I feel like I'm standing on top of a hill?
The prescription is correct, because I have gone to two separate eye doctors and they both came up with the same number .
Does anybody know why this is happening ?

Also, can anyone tell me the specs (besides the prescription) that a store uses to grind and fit the lens to the frame ? I'm thinking they screw up somewhere .

Just moved into a new apartment and our landlord told me that the dishwasher was new, but everytime I wash my silverware there's these little rust stains on them. Is it something with the dishwasher that is causing that?..or the type of silverware that I have?

We tried to work things out for quite some time before separating & I realized that emotionally I left the marriage a long time ago. We had 2 children together (4 and 7) & we share parenting 50/50% The kids seem to be doing remarkably well. Between the sep & the divorce, I started seeing a 35 yo woman. The relationship has developed into more than just friendship. We're not looking to get married or move in together, but the long term potential is there.

My ex knows about the new GF & is very bitter. I'd like to introduce my children to her (I've met her 14 yo son) & the ex has gotten very nasty about this. I'm not worried about the kid's reactions as I think that they'll be fine with dad having a new "friend." The new GF & I have talked & agreed on no affection in front of my kids. I'm more concerned with the ex's reaction & how it will affect the kids.

The new GF is not pushing. This is something I want. Tired of letting the ex control my life. Any advice would help

Why would a fractured elbow require surgery. my doc wants to put a prosthesis in at the elbow but its a lil fracture and i think this sounds ridiculous. has anyone ever fractured there elbow and had surgery or elected not to ? is a prosthesis better in the long run? what if i elect not to will i be disabled somehow?
