if you like him, then that's what is important. does he make you happy? when are you are with him is worth some stupid people laughing about it? ignore the people who are laughing about it, because he likes you and you like him. hopefully some of your friends support your decisions and stick by you no matter what. so, have fun with this guy and see what happens. laugh right back at the people that have nothing better to do than laugh at other people...they're just bored. have fun! :)
