high for a marriage to be considered healthy. also, on three different occasions over the past year during arguments my wife had told me that she sometimes regrets marrying me. i think as a result of this, i am depressed a lot of the time. i have always had low self esteem and this has definitely made my self esteem even worse. is this a bad situation? as far as marriages go, what percentile would this fall under as far as "bad situations" go. would this be in the bottom quarter of all marriages as far as quality? we have two kids. she complains about my family.. i feel like i am always walking on eggshells about to do something that will further aggravate her. this is not what a marriage is supposed to be is it?

"I guess what Christians ,and myself included can't understand is.. Marriage is a ceremony that is done in the presence and blessed by God. So how can you do something like that if you dont' believe in the one who is bringing you both together?"

First of all, we don't believe in him, so isn't that an irrelevant thought?

Also, Dictionary.com's definition only includes ONE definition out of TEN that includes the words religious ceremony...and that was stated like this:
1. the social institution under which a man and woman establish their decision to live as husband and wife by legal commitments, religious ceremonies, etc.

Do you consider "marriage" to be only a religious/Christian thing? Does a civil ceremony "not count", even with a marriage license?

Im so frusterated with my boyfriend! I know he doesnt liek to talk on the phone for very long, and thats not the problem, as long as he calls thats all that matters to me. The problem is right before he gets off he says "ill call you tomorrow or ill get online to talk to you" or something close to that, and 40% of the time he follows up with that but the other 60% he doesnt get online at all, or call, or even text saying HI! It's not that im mad that we dont talk for one day, it just irritates me when he gets me all excited to talk to him tomorrow but hardly ever follows up with it. What does it mean when he does that? Should i not trust his word anymore? I mean he has a full time job so ... do you think that might be it? or am i reading to much into this? PLEASE HELP!

Ok, i have been going out with my bf or i should say ex now for about 3 years. i broke up with him the other day due to the fact that it seems that he is picking his computer games or whatever over me. he says hes not any has nothing to do while i am at work blah blah but i also broke up with him for other reasons. i still love him very much and everything and i told him that only reason we will get back together is if i delete all your everquest crap and he was like no i shouldnt have to do that..so in my mind he is choosing the game over our relationship? I heard this charge from someone who was imprisoned with McCain. The accuser would, of course, be one of McCain's strongest supporters if McCain had behaved honorably. But my friend, a helicopter pilot shot down in Cambodia, refuses to get specific. I confronted him last night and he still wouldn't talk about it. Having been through horrible experiences myself and perfectly able to talk about them, I'll have to go against touchy-feely attitudes here and state that anyone who plays that silence game is a wimp who couldn't take it.
