It's a co. department's practice to give monetary donation to co-worker whose family member passed away. I never failed to give or share to such donation. But when my brother died, they ignored such practice. After 2 weeks another co-worker's brother died. Then as if it's compulsory to give monetary help.

Who's responsibility to create a foreign policy and enforce the protection of American citizens....the President and his Cabinet or Congress. I've read some answers here that say the new Congress is responsible for fixing Katrina, solving the Iraq Conflict, and solving our energy problems...The Congress sets law, but is their only function after making laws the oversight we have heard is so lacking lately?

Well, the thing is that I'm a Junior in HS and am currently looking for a college. I found two that I really like and they have low in-state tuition, which is good. It's just that when my sis went to college out of state she couldn't go back her second year because she couldn't afford it (we have to pay ourselves). So what can I do to get a lot of financial aid and scholarships? I have a decently high GPA and am in a nursing class at my school, which I hope will look good on my application.
But is there anyone out there that paid for college themselves? What did you do to manage it? I want to get a bachelors at least (4.5 years) or a masters (6 years). I don't think I'll be able to get any loans, seeing as my sister wasn't able to.

Any ideas? Serious replies only please.

We are in our 40s and married 5 yrs .My son needed 4 dollars and I told him to ask my husband for it and get my husbands wallet that was in the other room and my husband shot back and said loud and firm dont touch that wallet! I said what do you mean dont touch your wallet and he said I dont get in yours! Well I was shocked and felt very hurt and embarressed in front of my son he is 20 and he siad whoa! I have really light eyelashes, so I got them dyed yesterday and I loved it! I would like to do it again, except I'm scared that (like when you dye hair) the eyelashes will fall out. I WILL do it again, but what I'm asking is if you do it constantly, will they fall out? Is there any consequence? Thanks for your help! :D

HEy will someone suggest a proper investment policy for someone like me who has started working only about 2 months ago....i can invest upto 6K every month....but intend to take a break from work for about 2 years to finish my masters...

Trying to help dad in financing his dream home is another objective...which would call for a loan of about 5-8 Lacs and is hence a purely ambitious one considering the present scenario....

Ive been doing some research on this as well...Someone recommended Franklin Templeton SIP to start with but i thought why not diversify...I can take some risks wrt the investments i make....my priorities are mainly long term but i can take a few risks too...

I am pretty amateur to all this so maynot know all the jargons...i hope ppl can still understand what i intend to say....

I also want to know how much returns can i expect from the various offerings currently available....

Hope someone would help me out with this....
