I got a couple of books for Christmas last year or the year before, about politically correct fairy tales. "Once Upon A More Enlightened Time". They are hilarious.

No... However, I do like fictional books... fairy tales almost always have a "happily ever after" and I don't believe in that even though I'd like to... :-)

No, Fairy tales are of the devil. They raise your hopes as a child to push you in to dream land so when you wake up as an adult...You realize..its all a lie.

Mary = bloody Mary
silver bells and cockleshells = were torture devices

I dont practice it daily , but I do have very young children I read to.My 4 year old, loves " peas porriage hot" so we have to sing it every night

once in a while I have one of this big collection called "The (color) Fairy Book" there's green, purple, pink, and they're all different stories...I have'nt read it in a while though
