I am about to turn 21, and I have been with this guy since I was 14. Needless to say, that is over a quarter of my life. he has not allowed my to have any friends, and I haven't seen or talked to most of my family in years. He has not let me work in 2 years, and He is very mad about me going back to school to get my GED. I am not allowed to leave the house without his say so, and I have to call and check in with him once an hour. I know that this is not a heathy relation ship, and that I an the only one who can change my situation, but I don't know how. I just started a new job a few weeks ago, and I have found a house to rent, but It is in the same town I live in now. He has never hurt me phisically before, but I am scared that if I leave that might change. I am afraid that if I leave I may not make enough money to make it on my own. I know that I can't stay but I don't know how to leave.

I hate it when it gets closer to November the 5th. I wouldn't mind if it was like in Germany where they only sell Fireworks on the day that the let them off. But no, here in England they sell them about 2 weeks before so that the idiots can buy them.

To me, a ban on the retail sale of fireworks would be ideal. I think for what you pay, what you get is utter rubbish. Public displays are much better organised, sometimes free and people's safety is taken care of.

Each year there are news stories about people who have burnt their faces or hands, stories of some sick individual who has put a banger through an old ladies letter box or blowing up phone boxes with them.

I'm not saying outlaw sparklers, cos kids love the things - I used to love them when I was younger, but fireworks are just plane dangerous in the wrong hands and it seems that we're just too lax here on who buys them.

Also, who can you protect your pets for 2 weeks while people are just letting them off everywhere?!

Unfair.. Zidane unlucky.. Materazzi should have got atleast 1 year ban, do you guys agree? instead he got more fine and match ban than Marco.. Unfair un-needed Marco :( Its sad you made me hate Italy, my family supports Italy, but it was un-needed. I wouldnt care if Italy had won the World Cup even if Zidane didnt get a red card, it was a matter of fair play..

my husband is an hvac tech and he gets the worst dirt and grease stains on his jeans. i have the heavy duty large compasity front load washers i have tried soaking in simple green but it doesnt always work. Any good tricks for getting these stains out would be much appreciated. also i really dont like to use harsh chemicals. thanks

Everyday someone makes me REALLY mad when im driving! I am pretty psycho about it too! If someone is in the fast land going the speed limit I get pissed and pass them when I can and the try to cut them off. Sometimes people will start stuff and when I get back at them I will SLAM my brakes on so they will almost hit me and they get scared and back off! Today I got in a screaming match with some lady and her husband when we were at a stop light! I bet people have called the cops on me so many times! Do the cops keep track of those types of calls even though they cant prove anything? Is annyone else as psycho of a driver as me???? I think i need help....

It is a mega-find. The seller's were only asking $50,000 and it's perfect. The appraiser didn't know much about what he was doing so he appraised it the same as the purchase price (the last appraisal a few years ago was for over $60,000). Two other reasons we are having problems is that it's rural and some lenders don't do rural and most of the lending companies won't do loans for less than $50,000 and any money we pay down will put the loan beneath the mark. Besides getting a new appraisal, what else can I try?
