i took a pic of the mirror....and now i cant get rid of the glare on the comp

I also use the clone tool for this. Set the opacity at about 20% or less, though. Go over the area again and again. You can leave a bit of the glare there, since it would "agree" with the other highlights in the photo (regarding light source and direction) or you can get rid of it. If you clone another area at 100% opacity, you will have to be very careful that you don't add a reflection that exists somewhere else in the picture.

The only way I know of to get rid of this is in Photoshop using the rubberstamp tool. You have to clone an area of the mirror that doesn't have the reflection a little at a time. The mirror is the easy part. Replacing the washed out places on the heads of the people in front of the mirror is where it gets tricky.

Try shooting the photo outside with out flash, that is usually the best. or, try to take the photo from an angle. That way the flash won't be able to bounce back at you, creating the glare. Or, back further away from it and zoom in. That way the flash will be toned down.
