I want to know the differences in the policies of Democrats and Republican party in the US.?

They are broad...some Democrats support gay marriage ...some agains it...Some republicans are pro choice,,,some are completely anti-choice...It is aperson by person thing,,,
For the most part. Republicans want to ban womens right to choose...Democrats wnat to help poor people....

Ding, Ding, Ding. That is the question everyone should be asking. Too bad they won't answer because the only differences are on issues that don't effect our daily lives (ie. flag burning, gay marriage, ect.). So that begs the questions, what are they the same on? Dems claim to be for rights of citizens then push through discriminatory laws (anti-smoking)

Reps claim to be for small government yet still add lots of people to the government payroll.

I am currently looking at what libertarians are all about (aboot if you happen to be Canadian)

the difference is very simple it boils down to this ideology.....the republicans favor big business and less for the average citizen---the dems favor more for the average citizen and less to the big corporations.........so in reality when it comes to big corporations the republicans are liberal and when it comes to the average citizen they are conservative of course the opposite is true for the dems liberal for the citizen and conservative on corporations. as far as foreign policy they are two peas in a pod.
