I let my girlfriend borrow my stuffed toy dog cuz she went on a school trip for about a week. She's 15... I eventually told her she could have it.. lol

Her friends say she hugs it every night, and her sister tells me she sleeps with it. She just recently they went to the beach and she brought the stuffed dog along.. Haha, even named it..

Is it strange or normal for a girlfriend to act this way with a stuffed toy dog I gave her?.. I think it's kinda cute.. Is she this way with it because it came from me, or because she likes stuffed animals?

Hehe, you girls who have got stuffed animals from your boyfriends speak up :-D

we've been together for over two years. we've been discussing getting married. he will mention things like "oh we'll have to remember that when we get married" after getting wedding invites from other people getting married.

he will also always say "soon" what does soon mean? my soon? which would be less than a year... or do guys have a different soon?

i'm worried because my previous relationship i was in for almost 6 years with the hope of marrage and he never popped the question. i just don't want to waste another 6 years with someone if they don't want to marry me but dont want to break up. ya know?

I dont understand. I am always depressed for no reason,i can never be happy..i feel ungrateful,its like i have no feelings..i mean i do,but i show no emotions..its like i cant...and not only that im very cranky...and always moody,I get jealous for stupid reasons also...and dont feel like being active anymore with friends or anything. I've kind of always been like this,but now im 19 going on 20 and it seems to be getting even worse!! also i cant stand my family and dont want anything to do with them,not just my parents or siblings..i mean everyone!

What is wrong with me!!!please serious answers! I've been thinking of seeking help,but im not sure whats even wrong with me.

I just sold my stock A for a long-term loss of $50K.

I then sold my stock B for a long-term gain of $50K.

Can I then immediately buy back stock B (same number of shares) and still offset the two gain/loss to not pay tax on B's 50K capital gain? If yes, wouldn't this be an always-win situation for me: not having to pay tax on B's 50K and now own the same number of B's shares at a higher cost-basis?

My boyfriend wants to come over on Sunday to ask for my hand in marriage. I am really excited but at the same time I am not sure how I set the whole thing up. Do I tell my parents why he is coming or do I just suggest that we have a dinner and tell them he is coming. His parents are coming too and my parents have met his mom before but not his dad. Do I tell them who is coming so they know, should I say why his parents are coming? If I don't say and just tell them they are coming, how do I answer their questions as to why they are coming? I guess these things are trivial after Sunday but I just don't know exactly what I am going to do. I just wish my boyfriend would have planned it without including me into the whole thing, but I also love the fact that he is coming to ask for my hand because it would be greatly appreciated (my parents are traditional mexican parents). I guess my big concern is do I clue them in or not?

You are not the main character.

I had a dream in which I was not the main character, but rather the action resolved around a French man. I then traded placed with him, but my French was not that great in my dream. In the end, it turned out that he had been a fake, and he had not been French. It was a very complicated dream, involving me [as a French man] breaking my wife out of jail. I, however, never reappeared in my dream.

So, has anyone else traded places in their dream or not been the main character?
