I let my girlfriend borrow my stuffed toy dog cuz she went on a school trip for about a week. She's 15... I eventually told her she could have it.. lol
Her friends say she hugs it every night, and her sister tells me she sleeps with it. She just recently they went to the beach and she brought the stuffed dog along.. Haha, even named it..
Is it strange or normal for a girlfriend to act this way with a stuffed toy dog I gave her?.. I think it's kinda cute.. Is she this way with it because it came from me, or because she likes stuffed animals?

She sleeps with it as a surrogate for you. In other words, she likes you.
I always hug my husband's pillow when he is gone or wear one of his shirts to bed. It's a way of feeling close.

Most of us girls like..... no, no correction.... love stuffed animals. If your boyfriend (or a guy you like) gives you a stuffed animal you are going to be extra crazy about it!!! I named all the stuffed animals that i have received from boyfriends.... and I sometimes sleep with them. It is comforting.... it is also cute

The stuffed dog is a symbol that represents YOU!
She could go to Toy's R Us for any stuffed animal if that was all she was in to. This one is from you, it reminds her of you, & it's is absolutely normal for a girl to do that when she is in to YOU!.

it depends on the stuffed animal... my exboyfriend gave me some cute stuffed animals but i never slept with those since they were small... but this other friend gave me a big stuffed puppy and i sleep with that. i dont even talk to him anymore, but i still love that puppy lol... it doesn't necessarily mean that i "love" my friend.
i think its normal though. i know many girls that sleep with their stuffed animals, especially the ones given to them by their bfs.

That's cute... she sleeps with the stuffed dog because its from
you and in a sense its like having you near. She is very
sentimental and romantic, and is using the stuffed dog
as a surrogate, since she can't have you in her bed.

I am in my late twenties and my fiance won me a stuffed dog at a fair a few months ago. when he isnt with me I sleep with it. It is a comfort thing, replacing him in a sense, reminding me of him and how wonderful he is. It's great that she cares so much for you and completely normal. It is a sign of her affection towards you.

She isn't doing nothing strange at all! I have a stuffed puppy also that my boyfriend got me for valentines day last year, and i still ...till this day... sleep with it!
All that says is that she really cares for you and loves you!

she sleeps with the stuffed dog coz it's reminds her of u, but be careful dude. If u breakup wit her, the stuffed animal is going to be in her dustbin.......
even if u breakup with her, be friendly with her,then she will keep the stuffed animal wit her forever.....

heheh awww, u guys are so sweet especially you! ;) she likes the stuffed toy u gave her coz well..u were the one who gave it to her! haha and for her, whenever she's out like on those trips she went to, she feels like ur also with her and she feels ur presence whenever she has that stuffed toy coz it came from you! :) aaww how sweet...its normal for a girl to feel this way coz she shows that she really loves you! :)
