And yes before you ask, I am from the sticks and we do things like this. But seriously, there is a place close to where I live called the Haunted Forrest, they have a hayride down to the woods and then they have a trail set up with fake cemeteries, ghosts, caves and such. My son is 10 and he loves this place and wants to go this weekend before they close for the year. My daughter is 2 1/2 and I am not sure if she would get too scared or not. My husband went hunting this weekend so it is just me and the kids. I would hate to take them there and then have my daughter completely freak out and get scared. I would be able to hold her as we walked through the woods and there will be tons of other people there, and they also always walky-talky ahead to the "monsters" and "ghosts" and tell them there is a small kid coming and to tone it down. Do you think I should give it a try and take them both?

Let's say, I wrote a book. In that book, there was only one sentence. That one sentence reads "This is the greatest book ever written." I let my Dad read the book. He turns to me and says to me "That is not the greatest book ever written." All I do back is say "But, Dad, it says so write here!"

The question is, then, if someone calls into question your faith, your religion, your texts, and everything some man on a podium ever told you, what do you have left to defend your beliefs, since an object can not be used in its own defense?

Put another way, what makes you know that there's something else out there, a god or whatever else you believe in, ignoring faith and being told so by someone else?

Love, birth, happenstance, coincidence, luck, beauty?

My boyfriend got a flu shot at work 2 weeks ago, and ever since then hes been complaining about a pain in the spot where they put the needle in. He said the guy didn't "put the needle in slowly like they usually do", but rather "smacked the needle into his arm".

He said his whole muscle is REALLY sore, I think its funny.... its kind of a joke we have.... I call him a baby because everytime i smack his arm he goes "OW my flu shot hurts!!".

its not a big deal but he swears theres really a pain, and i thought I;d be a good girlfriend and look into it.... any ideas?

long 28-34 days , has lately been short? I had a period 9/8 and then on 10/4 it came again and I had spotting a week after my period ended and up until it came again! Now my period is on again, what can cause this to happen besides stress? I get regular check ups and was told by my doctor that I'm in good health, I am a 30 year old married mother of 3.

Okay, today I tried a tanning booth..... my friend was going and I was riding with her and I didn't feel like just standing around and waiting so I thought that I'd try it out. It seemed okay, until a few hours later when I realized that my back seems much darker than the rest of my body. I'm sure it'll lighten but for those that always use tanning booths, how do you prevent that from happening? Just curious. Thanks.
Ps. I know the dangers of tanning booths, so spare me the lecture. I just wanted to try it out :o)
