Remember when Fran had that creepy-*** magic mirror at the end of the show, and she'd look into it and say "hi" to the kids watching at home? Do you think that mirror thing was just a sham? I watched every single day and she never said my name. :O(

Yes I remember Romper Room. Also Capt. Kangaroo. Remember the Romper Stompers you would wear on your feet & walk around, they were yellow. Now we have Barney & a sponge Bob. Bring back the old shows!!!

I remember "Romper Room". The host back in Rhode Island was Miss Bonnie. She went on to become a very successful Realtor.

Your parents had to mail in your name to the show so she'd say your name. It was sort an early TV early childhood show for kids who couldn't go to kindergarten or if kindergarten wasn't available. I watched it. I was about 4 or so and that was very long time ago.

Miss Fran came long after Miss Betty - a native of my town.... her mirror was just as creepy, and she found me once.

i was a dedicated little kid of that show too...that, and that show "GREAT SPACE COASTER" remeber that one?that around romper room time,or maybe a little bit later,but not much......kids shows were better back then...there was a few goods ones out,when my kid was younger,that he HAD to watch,everyday,i kinda got into that show WISHBONE and ARTHUR ..those 2 ,i sometimes actually sat down and watched them ,with him...

As a little kid I loved that show if it was creepy I had not clue I had my snack and my show and it was all good.
