They underestimate my gas bill for 4 and half years and only realise cos I rang up and read them the meter. It then takes them 6 weeks to bill me and they send me a £3300 bill. I then realise they've charged me at current rate of gas so has now been amended to £2300. I've wrote 2 letters about this and been ignored. Then get a letter from their debt people to take me to court so rang them up and they said it was an error. Still had no reply to my letter - in one letter I told them I had contacted a solicitor to try and get them to drop a part of the bill. They read my meter a year ago and noticed the problem and thought they'd read it wrong leaving me another year underestimated. They have been truely appalling., Rang today and the girl said it was bad no one had got back to me & said actually it was law they could only back bill for 2 yrs so its being looked at for the third time. If I'd paid the 1st bill I would have been well conned any ideas on how to proceed with this???

I've been with my girlfriend for only about 2 months, but we were "seeing" each other for about 6 months before we made things official. We've been friends for over 4 years. During the time when we weren't official, she would ask me from time to time questions regarding marriage and hypothetical questions about engagements, proposals, marriage, etc. And from time to time she asks me questions now about these kinds of things, and I enjoy sharing about my thoughts and asking about hers. Do girls usually ask questions about marriage related issues with any guy, meaning girls just like to flirt with the thought of marriage and will ask any guy friend or do you think she's asking these questions because deep down there is something there, whether she realizes it or not. She has never said anything like "if we got married..."-- everything is left fairly open and general. It'd be nice to know if these questions meant something deep and not that she was just asking "for fun". Any thoughts?

I have a 42 inch plasma t.v. and planning on mounting it on my wall but i'm not sure if my wall will stand the weight of the t.v. since my wall is pretty much wooden but its hollow, so do you think it will still hold or should i have an estamate on it?

I just brought my car in for an oil change and lube service. The place I go to is pretty good about service and repairs in that I can drop my car off in the day, and pick it up in the early evening for service other than oil changes.

However, I noticed that several times (today included), the mechanic would call and say something like "We did the oil change, but noticed the other fluids could use a change -- coolant, transmission, power steering."

When they say that, are they being good mechanics by watching out to keep the cars they serve in tip-top shape or are they just giving a soft sell to make extra services?

Would love to hear from other customers and if you work(ed) as a mechanic and have any inside knowledge. Thanks.

My fiance and I started to foster kittens and my older cat stopped using the litter box. Even after all the cats were adopted out, she kept going on the carpet. It has been a month since any extra animals have been in the house and my cat has started urinating in the litter, but still refuses to poop in the box. We've begun to crate her when we're gone and at night; it seemed to work. Then we started to let her out more often, but within a few days she goes on the carpet again. Its always in the same spot in the house; five feet away from the litter boxes. * A note about the room*. The litter boxes have been in the same room in an extra large wooden box and when our god daughter stays she sleeps in that room.
