so, I see some of the newer laptops have the wireless stuff internal. what do I need to look for when shopping for those laptops?
I like the idea of free internet at hotspots and when prices come down I would like to have a wireless service connected to the laptop.

My best freind and I grew up together in nyc. She moved to Honolulu and has been here for 7 years and has new freinds that I don't really click with. I am married now and moved to Honolulu recently.

I realized that our friendship changed. Well, ofcourse it has we're not kids anymore! We got into a disagreement and both felt we needed space to grow. Have you ever been in a similar situation? When you needed a break from someone you dearly cherished?

A guy at my work put some program on my laptop from download.com and then upgraded me to internet explorer 7. I was able to use the internet at work, but now I can't get online at home. It keeps telling me that there is no connection. My DSL is working fine since I can use it on my desktop. The program that he installed from download.com had something to do with preventing a whole bunch of programs starting up when turning on the computer.

I erased the internet explorer 7 because I was hoping that had something to do with it. Do you have any ideas what could be wrong?

The old car pulled into the driveway. Would my father be drunk
again? I soon got my answere. An object flew at me as I looked
out the window. I jumped back as the window shattered out. He
had thrown the jack out of the car at me. A quiet man when sober,

god wanted him to remind me what he could do to me. When
he went to a bar, people would steer clear of him/ He said he
could see the fear in their eyes. He climmed up on the roof drunk
and screamed, "they all run like turkeys before me"!

Ok... to many, people think war is bad, meaningless, and unecessary. Though war isn’t always meaningless. It's sort of like a double edged sword, with its pros and cons.... If war was unnecessary, then it would be pointless...

Regardless if right or wrong, there is usually a reason behind war and people would fight for that reason. War is never exactly 'good', but good things can happen as a result of war such as one's rights and freedoms.

I'm just talking about war in general, which is a broad subject...but yeaa... It all depends on one's perception...so what are your thoughts?

I am having some trouble creating a good research question for my Education class. I need to design a research question that is actually researchable in a very short period of time. Do you have any in mind?
This is the research question that I have: What methods or strategies are used by two teachers to maintain order in the classroom?

I'm getting really annoyed with this. I'm an educated college student and some of my close friends have never been to college. So, I get the "know it all" and "you act like you're a f**king genius" and all that stuff all the time. That's not it at all. I like my friends, I like their company, and I like how we have different perspectives. I DO listen to what they say, but I don't always agree. Sometimes I also will tell them, when they start to go on a tangent , "is there a point to this story?" Or, when they start telling me about things that I have studied and have become common knowledge to me, I say "yeah, I know about that" or "I've studied that", just so that they don't have to keep explaining something to me I already know. I see it as a courtesy so that they don't have to OVER explain things to me, but instead, they see it as me being a know-it-all. So, should I just act stupid for the sake of socialization and to make others happy?

has been chatting to a lady on IM and she is now sending him 'loving' emails (he hasnt replied to any). he said they only chat but it is obviously more than that. my problerm is do i email her & tell her or wot? we have 4 beautiful kids and both have always wanted a big family. but a few years ago i got really sick and the doc had to take everything out of me. now i feel like i have a part of my lost, we want another child so bad but the cost of adoption is crazy and everything they put you through is just as crazy. we know there are so many babys thats not wanted or the mom is just to young. does anyone know how we can go about adopting a baby with out it costing. another thing i would like to know if anyone can answer my sister and brothre-in law has lost their kids because they are unfit and never went to the parenting classes, does anyone know how we can get those kids out of foster care and into my home. would hate for them to get lost in the system when we would love to have them (they are in cali) and we are in another state. i just think its better for the kids to be with family then jumping from one foster home to the next.
