Jesus was the only person every born whose sole purpose to exist was to die.

We know that we are to have GOD first in our life. Many do not realize our husband or wife then come next as a priority, then our children and then ministry. In 1 Timothy, we see the importance of our church leadership having their own household in order. The family is very important and I am positive that if Jesus was married, we would have heard about His family far more.

IF Jesus had been married, He would not have been able to willingly give HIS live for us as it would be going against this. Paul talked about this when he said that if we remain unmarried, we able to think about the things of GOD much more:

1 Corinthians 7:

32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

Jesus was born in a manger...not surprising. HE was the LAMB of GOD. The manger was only a stepping-stone to a hill called Mt Calvary and an old rugged cross. This was a stepping-stone to an EMPTY TOMB.

I can only see all of this garbage about Jesus being married or doing this or that as distractions...distractions to keep many from thinking about the truly important thing...what will they do with Jesus Christ. Will they trust HIM for salvation...or will they want to seek answers for things that do not matter at all?

The next question…what will YOU do with JESUS? Check the link below to find out how you can KNOW you have eternal life.

Actually, Dan Brown did not make this up, he used the real arguements and theories that historians have been argueing about for decades.

Personally, if I had to believe in that he had a wife and child or the version in the Bible, I would choose that he was married. It makes him seem more human and believeable, if I was going to believe at all.

There's nothing that says he didn't and there's nothing that says he did. Some believe that he was married to Mary Magdalene and that he and she had a daughter together. Is this true? Could be. Personally, I think Jesus was married since it was very rare indeed for a young Jewish man of his time and place not to be married.

There is no evidence given in the Bible that Jesus was married and had a child and the Bible is the truth. Do I believe that this happened? No.

Actually, all that does not matter, including whether his left leg is shorter than the right or whether he prefers grapes to oranges, or had 3 childhood girlfriends. All this things have no impact on religious belief or following. How can anyone prove these things 2,000 years after the event anyway?

What is important is his message of love and salvation to all mankind.

I'm sure that most of us in this section have read the Da Vinci Code, the truth is that we'll never know for sure anyway, so why create scandal?

That is not a theory, it is a fiction novel and never meant to be taken as anything else.

I've heard the theories but I can't say that I know enough about them to render an opinion.

But, if he was and did ... would you hold it against him?

A
