at swim meets i usually do very well in my events if i am all warmed up and toasty to go.
the thing is i cool down really fast. like if i arrive at my lane a 100 before my body turns numb and i feel like i can't swim to my best potential. this mainly affects me in 50 free.
tips on how to stay warm and not let this affect my swim?

I've been in a spot for a long time...having to take to the roads on foot.and cover alot of territory. I've been picked up by folks from all WALKS OF LIFE. The conversations are interesting..at times non-existent.....But a few have literally taken me into their vehicle and shown me true compassion and un-relenting love...A nice couple picked me up once and bought me breakfast!!!! Another gentleman gave me $20 when I got out..to buy a nice shirt!!! In accepting these gifts/offerings...I felt a sort of glow..while feeling guilty for accepting charitable action from someone who doesn't even know me. The ones who pick me up are absolutely great people. Although a certain amount of bravery is involved on both ends....My courage has never failed me. My only worry is that the ones who trust me are not led to believe that all hikers are safe. Be careful and watch yourself. God Bless those who can see when someone who needs a lift.

Recently, my stepfather and I fixed a portion of my ceiling that needed replaced. However, after he, the handyman, was gone, it was left to me to paint the ceiling, including the space where he had used to even it out with sheetrock joint compound. I painted the ceiling and it looked pretty good, but parts of the joint compounded area didn't look good enough in my opinion. So, I decided to prime the spot and paint over it. It looked worse, so the genuis that I am thought one more layer of primer and paint would make things better, Needless to say, I now have a spot on my ceiling that looks almost gray rather than white. What do I do? I tried sanding it, but it is hardly making a dent in it.

I want to get a license to carry a fire arm. I've never used a gun, but I would like to learn to use one and I'd like to have one tucked safely away just in case an emergency comes about and it requires the use of one. However, how do I go about getting one? Do I need weapons training before I get one and were exactly do I go to apply for one. I have no clue on how to go about this. Please help! When any of you were pregnant, or first suspecting that you may be pregnant, did you have any spotting during the first month instead of an actual missed period? I am under the impression that this is fairly common. I haven't taken a test yet but my period is about 5 days late, and instead of bleeding like I normally do - which is like a stuck pig, I bleed a lot from beginning to end - I am just sort of spotting, and have been for about a day and a half. Could this mean I am pregnant?
