I think in a perfect democracy everyone gets representation and I can tell you there are a lot of people with even stranger sexual desires and actions than Foley. Why don't they get represented? He shouldn't have been in charge of preventing people from doing what he was doing, but I don't see why he can't still be a senator.
He's been like this his whole career. Should all his votes over those years no longer count? It seems his ability to legislate is independent of his conduct in his free time. He should be punished but I don't think he needs to lose his job until someone else is elected by those who voted for him. Your thoughts?
