That would depend on what's meant by "Discover". Truthfully, Columbus didn't discover anything. When he set sail in his three little ships he carried detailed maps of the East coast of the North American Continent provided by the Knights Templar. There are Knight Templar graves in Nova Scotia dating back to the 1300s, and there are carvings of maise (corn) and aloe plants in Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland that were carved about 75 years before Columbus set sail. Maise and Aloe were not present in Europe at that time and originated in North America.

And by the way, America was not named for Amerigo Vespucci either. When the Knights set sail for this area under their battle flag (a black flag with a skull and crossed bones) they were following the brightest star in the heavens, which was referred to by one of it's many names "MERICA".

Well, apparently somethign like 3 people already discovered America before Columbus did, and even then, there were already people here. So who gives a rats **** about Cristopher Columbus??? He just stopped being an idiot a little while before the rest of his countrymen did.

he discovered that India was located in the americas.

Meow? Europeans DID know, and they WERE sent notice of a new world. They were called VIKINGS. COlumbus seemed to be the only person alive then who DIDN"T know about america!

And us native americans weren't the first ones here. We were the ones living here when coloumbus got here. After we beat the vikings in the north...

It is impossible, it has already been discovered.... and since people are what make a country a "country".

Uninhabited land is just land... you might call it a new country, but only because you have arrived there... previously, it was just empty land... and you haven't really discovered a country.

Yes it is (impossible).

And by the way, Columbus didn't "discover" anything. He just got lost.

I completely agree. Columbus Day is by far the most annoying holiday. I am pretty sure the Native Americans were well aware that this land existed.
