I was in the store the other day and notice that a man was wearing a skirt suit. In other words he was all dolled up. Two women near by were making fun of them, but yet they were wearing jeans. One girl mention that she wears her bf shirts, but yet she got down on this guy for wearing a skirtsuit. I really do not understand life today.

What difference does it make ? I agree with the poster. I wear skirts all of the time at home and lately I have been dating in a denim knee length solid blue skirt with hose and wedges while wearing a polo shirt on top with a hoodie or jacket as appropriate. The reason is very simple. It's comfortable, looks good, a skirt is easy to maintain and is FAR more healthy for men considering that pants are very restrictive and uncomfortable -- watch a man in pants, he'll be shifting and grabbing all day in order to shift his nuts constantly. Whoever designed pants ought to be subjected to a straight jacket, tied onto the front of a Fedex truck and driven down Route 288 Afghanistan highway in Richmond Virginia unless he confesses...

And...I've also had LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of compliments from women all over the place on how sexy my legs and skirts look. I didn't think I could pull it off, but on my very first date I got a big ego boost when a bunch of women came up to us and complimented me on how good I actually look in a skirt and that they thought it should be a norm for guys to wear them.

I say, if you've got the legs flaunt them and don't look back. Don't be Ru Paul'ish -- get something solid, denim or a fine quality fabric, wear decent hose and shoes and don't look back. For the first ten minutes you'll be nervous, but after that you'll realize the nervousness is totally gone and you'll really enjoy your freedom and if your partner is willing to wear one out with you, you'll both look great together ! Enjoy !!! :">

Here in America, it is a social issue. When a man wears a dress or a skirt, the majority of people will tag the man as being a transsexual or crossgender person. Very few people will socially accept a man wearing a dress or skirt without negativity attached to the outfit. I could care less what people wear but then again I am not a bigot or namecaller.

I don't know but I think wearing jeans and pant suits is a 'unisex-thing'. So it's just a matter of whether it complements the person who wears the outfit or not. But strictly speaking, wearing a skirt is a girl-thing except ofcourse if you're scottish because you're talking about culture here.

I stopped wearing men's clothes years ago. My entire wardrobe consists of articles of traditional feminine attire. That's what I like, and I'm prepared to take the consequences of appearing in public in a skirt or dress. Some people stare; others giggle or point; still others make cracks or rude comments. Whatever! As long as my girlfriend tolerates my proclivity for women's clothes, I feel I don't have anything to worry about.

Now-a-days anything goes as far as fashion.
I don't even try to stay with the trends, I just keep everything clean and comfortable.

In Scotland men wear kilts, in Japan men wear hakima's why can't an American man wear a dress?

Every thing is flip flopping around these days. It does'nt bother me rather or not a man wears womens clothes. I do not disagree with it or do I agree with it.

i think its a matter of personal taste on what we wear and feel comfortable in wearing. maybe he was making a statement or lost a bet. but then again ,if that's what he wanted to wear then so be it.we're all different and have different taste in clothes.
