i got married to my husband 9 yrs ago in city hall. we never got married by church. we plan to divorce since things have been going bad for us and there's no love in our marriage. for our kids we decided it's best since we dont want to put them thru anymore pain. i would like to know what can i do to get the divorce, how long will it take and is it the same or different from getting married by church? thank u!

First let me get this out of the way. I'm not a Christian, nor am I against Christianity. It doesn't effect me either way. I'm not a religious man, I can't really buy into all that, but that's just me.

But that doesn't stop me from being curious as to why "god" is censored from the word "goddamn" in most broadcast media.

Now let's get one thing straight. I want answers on this, not religious opinions. I don't need to know that you're anti-Christian and you think the word "god" should be banned from public exposure. Alternatively, I don't need to know that you're a bible-thumper and hear a sob story about how Jesus is the saviour and god's name should have a place in every corner of the world. I don't need that, I just want an answer to my question.

Meh, I know I'm gonna get a bunch of opinions regarding beliefs anyway. Whatever, fire away...
