I can't my head round this and wondered if anyone can help me! When filling electron orbitals and using the building up order (1s2, 2s2...etc) I don't understand the way the d orbitals fill. I get everything else about it but; e.g. chromium. The configuration is [Ar]3d4, 4s2 but why is it not just [Ar] 3d6? Why does the 4s get electrons when the 3d is not yet completely filled? Can someone please explain this :)

Every time I take my sweet little 18 month old to a playground, inevitably there is some little brat kid who acts up. The mother (usually fat as a cow) is either nowhere to be found or chatting away with another chain-smoking heffer. The little brat will shove other kids, and pull things out of their hands. I lose my mind because THIS IS WHERE THE BULLYING STARTS. God help you if I am at that playground because I YELL at your little animals. If you don't discipline them I WILL. Watch your damned kids. For the rest of you good parents out there, do the same. Take back this damned country.

My dog will walk past his bowl of Pedigree and eat flowers,kitty litter,rocks,feces,money. And other things. But if I put canned food he'll eat it. Are rocks,"fresh step" and feces really tastier than Pedigree dog chow???

I am hoping he won't notice.
What happened was, I was having one of my executive business lunches with some foreign colleagues, and they bought me some exotic cocktails.....(When in Rome) Well, I only had, like 3 or 6 of them, but I got a little drowsy anyhow. So, I kind of misjudged how close I was to the boss's Caddy. It's old, anyway...I mean, like from the '60's or something... Maybe he won't notice. He's always gotta get work done to it anyway, like new leather put on the seats and "DETAILS" put on it and stuff...I mean, what kind of a car needs "DETAILS"? I think there must be alot of stuff already wrong with it because I overhear him talking about it ALOT. He's probably planning to sell or junk it, anyway.
So do you think he'll notice?

I met a guy in the spring at a series of frat parties my last semester of college. He went to the same college, but graduated before I got there. I haven't seen him all summer, and friday night we're at another frat party, and he asks for my number so I give it to him. Sadly, the boys in his frat that I've given my number to are notorious for NOT calling. I found the guy on myspace, and am wondering if I should send him a message or not? i was in school today, minding my own business walkin down the halls and this black dood ive never seen before before comes up and bumps into me.. hes a lil shorter then me but he tried to knock me down. then this kid GRABBED MY LACOSTE shirt, then i head butted him as my 2 friends came up and help end the conflict.

this isnt the first time a black person tried to start **** with me

and its only black ppl.. No asians, indians , middle east or even Mexicans try to start sh!t with me.. its just black. like 3-4 times a year by 3-4 different blacks.

this is a public school but in a really good neighborhood, his kind is rare here.. but stupid affimative action let him in.

btw i have 1-2 black friends, but they are girls.

why do blacks love 2 start fights?
