I think that you are NOT phsycotic...but another victim of childhood neglect and extremely broken spirit...I believe the person said you 'could' be...but doesn't know you,..was just going on what He/she'd just read...but trying to be helpful...Based on what you said in your last question...here is the description of psychotic...see if you can see how they might mention that word...Psychosis is a generic psychiatric term for a mental state in which thought and perception are severely impaired. Persons experiencing a psychotic episode may experience hallucinations, hold delusional beliefs (e.g., grandiose or paranoid delusions), demonstrate personality changes and exhibit disorganized thinking (see thought disorder). This is often accompanied by lack of insight into the unusual or bizarre nature of such behavior, difficulties with social interaction and impairments in carrying out the activities of daily living. A psychotic episode is often described as involving a "loss of contact with reality"....now,...not knowing you...did the things you mentioned,...appear to another something that might fit that description? I agree that you are questioning yourself, and want to get better,..and that is 75% of the problem solved right now. I believe you are frustrated...extremely hurt,..and will find out what it is that is eating at you that upsets you so bad,...and you are going to be just fine...a lot of us get mad at people these days..and there doesn't have to be mental problems for THAT to transpire...Good luck...

I think it is time to get a sense of proportion. Firstly you are descibing anxiety states as a direct result of actual situations, so you are reacting to reality not suffering from a sense of unreality. You are far too aware to be psychotically ill, as other people have rightly said. One, you need to be away from there; two you need to find someone who can offer you CBT specifically for dealing with anxiety and three you need to trust yourself more and talk about how you feel, it will help.

If you have anger management problems that are allowed to go untreated, they can lead to you becoming "Psychotic".
No one is saying that you are "psychotic", because you have not been seen by a clinical psychiatrist. Plus you posted the question on answers with indepth details how you feel. "Anger" is serious when it goes out of control.

I just looked at your previous questions. I wouldn't say you are psychotic......I would say you're neurotic. That is someone who is "over-anxious" about everything in their life.

Chance are that if you are questioning your mental health, you have nothing to worry about. The old saying goes "the sane man always questions his sanity."

Ask yourself the same question. If you answer yourself hatefully, and *****-slap yourself, then you are probably crazy. If you answer yourself politely, then take yourself out for tea.
