Your baby willcome when it's ready. Your due date is an estimate & could be off by a week or more. Just be patient & don't try anything other than sex or walking or eating spicy foods. Castor oil is dangerous!! Imagine what it does to your baby if it causes you to get the runs. Very dangerous. Just know that you will NOT be pregnant forever even though I know it seems that way right now. I had both of my girls at 41 weeks. All we had to do was threaten induction even though I wouldn't have doen it. lol

I tried everything!! Nothing worked. I have 4 kids and had to be induced over due with all. But all are healthy happy kids and once they are born all the waiting after 40 weeks in the world didn't matter anymore! Hang in there. It will be worth it!

The safe ones are as follows: Sex, Eats Lots of Pineapple....I mean LOTS, go get a prenatal massage and ask them to hit your pressure points, have your doctor strip your membranes., red raspberry leaf tea.

Otherwise all the thing you might see like castor oil etc are really not good for you. I would just wait it will happen and then you will never sleep again@!)#%&)@&

Lots of walking and sex always helps.
Be active
Clean the house, rearrange furniture (just don't move anything to heavy)
Go and get some indian food (it may not be good but the spicies help)

some times eating a hot curry followed by sex followed by a hot bath will help.
when my baby was overdue i drank a small bottle of castor oil mixed with orange juice then had a hot bath, i spent most of the next day on the toilet and gave birth the following afternoon,
i got the idea from the nursing home that delivered me, their system to help overdue mums was called the OBE, oil, bath and enema,( needless to say, i didn't need the enema )
ihope all goes well for you and good luck.

Long walks, spicy food, castor oil, licorice---but you really shouldn't incude labor without consent from your doctor first. Congrats on the baby though!
