my 8-yr old neutered male cat is 14 lbs. He is muscular; not at all flabby; but from the back, you can see how WIDE he is. Vet told me that his ideal weight ought to be 10 - 12 lbs. Stupid me, I forgot to ask him for a diet... anyone there with experience on getting a cat's weight down successfully? Oh, I feed the cat mostly canned food with a bit of kibble for his teeth. Thanks!

We've gotten a 5 month old male cat a week ago. He is following me and loves to play. But he is, I would say, agressive towards my dad. For example, my dad was trying to pad him when he was laying on a chair and the cat started to hiss at him and scratch him.

Why is the cat only nice to me and does not like anyone else? Is there anything we could do to make him like other people, not just me?

My last period ended this past Tuesday. But it started different then what they normally do. When I first got up I had blood tinged cervical mucus. Then later on that night I finally started my period. Well it lasted the full 5 days like it suppose to. Now I have been having ALOT of cervical mucus with SOME cramps! I have two related questions. 1) What does it mean when you see a lot of moths? 2) What does it mean when you see a lot of spiders?
I'm looking for a deeper meaning to this if anyone knows it. Please no comments on exterminators or bug spray or anything like that.
Everywhere I look I see spiders; in my room, outside on the house, and even on or in my car.
Also, there has been a really big moth that has been flying around my side door for the past week at night. I know it's attracted to the light, but It's not there during the day which means it leaves and comes back. Why would it come back to my door, it has the whole world to fly in?
I've been trying to get myself on track in regards to my goals, and am wondering if they are a sign about something.
If anyone knows or thinks they know, please respond.
