I don't get the whole wait until you are married thing. I know that it is Judaism, Christianity, and Islam forbid sex outside of marriage. While it is totally normal in Western cultures world to have sex before we get married, our society and its older members, and religious individuals still look down on it like it is a moral issue or something.
I don't understand the logic in that. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, and everyone always says that it is very important that you know as much as you can about a person BEFORE you get married. Shouldn't that apply to sex as well? Before making a lifetime commitment to someone isn't it extremely important to know if the two of you are sexually compatible?

History shows that it doesn't.
Alcohol prohibition in America in the 1920's led to gang warfare and drove drinking underground. The cost of illegal liqour became sky high, leading to the production of "bath tub" gin (methyl alcohol rather than ethyl) which could blind you or send you mad . Desperate people (alcoholics) actually started mugging others for the price of a drink.
Speak Easy's became popular and officials became corrupt (taking bribes etc).

The prohibition of drugs is following the same pattern.

The irony is, that the efforts to prohibit smoking and drinking through the back door, are targetting products that are legally sold.

People should be allowed to kill themselves in any way they wish.

What hypocrisy.

Self-explanatory. Many film characters have famous mottos, one-liners or exclamations that define their character and sometimes the movie itself. Repeated ad-infinitum throughout the movie or series, they have an almost iconic prescence in cinematic history that are so good that even fans take to saying them! Try to guess who said these quips and from which movie they came from!

1. "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf*cker!" Clue: Do you really need one?

2. "Oh bugger." Clue: Hide the rum.

3. "Kachow!" Clue: Speed.

4. "Pit-stop!" Clue: Forklift.

5. "This is what I do!" Clue: What you gonna do?

6. "Oh, HELL no!" Clue: Artificial Intelligence

7. "I'm too old for this sh*t." Clue: Lethal.

8. "That's all." Clue: Demon.

9. "Pop quiz, hotshot..." Clue: Don't slow down. (It's the bad guy)

10. "I'll be back." Clue: You don't need one for this, either.

Good luck, and good night! :)

my son is 16 months old and I am still finding it difficult to resume a close relationship with his father. we have been close but it is little and often. i was totally different before the birth of my son (natural) and I can't find any advice on line, without going to 'relate'. my partner is 100% understanding - but somehow that just makes it more difficult to bear.

With the Republicans an utter failure and Democrats too tied to their own special interests, doesn't America need a truly pragmatic party.

Who could break away from the current parties to form this new entity? I see people such as McCain, Clinton, Powell, Richard Lugar, maybe Lieberman, etc. as possibilities.
