Whenever i'm DJ-ing out, at clubs etc, if i get too excited or nervous or even very slightly, subconciously uptight, and i've had ANY fluid drinks (non-alcoholic or alcoholic), i reach a point where i'm hiccupping / swallowing so much air, that i really do have to leave, and go! a big build-up of air that cannot escape just makes me want to urge after it gets that bad. this is really upsetting me as i've never been able to burp. antacids don't help because it's too late, nor does more fluid. any suggestions on this please? is there ANYTHING ANYBODY knows of that can instantly relieve this without me having to belch. also, when i do eventually get home etc, it subsides after i relax. i'm not after answers about relaxation therapy thanks, that's long-term. i s'pose i'm after a quick solution.

I am a natural born black american. I've been to africa, and from what I see, most black americans appear to have characteristics and features that integrate other racial groups compared to afrikaans. When you claim Africa-American are you not doing so at the expense of your other ethnic roots?

Megadeth or Metallica personaly I like Megadeth more because Dave makes his own music and He has more albums to choose from. Plus all his albums dont sound alike and only one album was weak but, not bad just not metal. Also he works hard for his fans lots and lots of music

I see a lot of these new churches(if you can call them that) popping up where its dress however you want, pizza in the back, get a latte before services, 'God is so Cool' sermons, leave the bible at home and bring Soduku. Do you think this is a good thing? What kind of Christians could these churches produce.? Wll they be able to share Gods word with others if they have no idea what it is? Is this the future of all Christian churches?

I bought a truck from him, with a verbal agreement to work extra hours to pay it off. After I got the truck, I recieved the title to it, but I still owe him money. There is nothing I have signed reguarding this. After a heated argument, I decided he was not worth my time any longer and he attempted to make me leave the truck. I told him that I have the title, and I am willing to pay the truck off once I get another job. He told me I wasn't taking the truck anywhere, and I said I bet I do, and if he continued, he'd get nothing, since there's nothing legally binding.

He also owes me one last paycheck, which I'm going to attempt to collect. I am sure he is going to refuse to pay me since I owe him money for the truck, but after reading through the California laws, he is required to pay me. I really have no money for a lawyer, is this something I can take to small claims court? Also never paid me overtime, which is a violation, and I was never paid the rate advertised in his ad.

I really want to start a membership with a paid survey because I think that you can make a lot of money off it but a lot of the sites I go to all want me too pay first and it seems like a scam. Does anybody know where to go and who is legitimate and has anybody signed up with PAIDSURVEYETC.COM where you pay 69 or 34 dollars to join and are they just a scam or has anybody actually made money out of it.

I was messing around trying to fix my sink. The hot water wouldn't turn all the way off, and the water knob under the sink is so old and rusted that, when I tried to loosen it with a wrench, it sprung a leak and..... to make a long story short, I need to cut the hot water off at the source. I seem to have managed to do this by moving a lever on the pipe coming out of the hot water heater into the "off " position. My question is....is it ok to turn that lever off? Am I going to cause the water heater to back up and explode or anything? I doubt that Ican get a plumber out until Monday. I don't mind not having hot water....I just dont' want to blow up my basement !

Both of my boys have asthma (hereditary.... from my side of the family, and even my husband has it). Recently though, my sister in law said her son has it, and my son is showing the same symptoms (he is thin-but appetite ok, has cough with phlegm and colds- and sometimes the flu, and his lymph nodes can be felt bulging or should I say swelling behind the lower part of the ears). We will take him for a chest xray soon, but he has fever right now. is it ok to have your xray taken if you have fever? thanks for any help!
