The time frame for filing charges? (statute of limitations)
Once one is an adult, is it possible to 'charge' abusive parents? Now that the law is officially 'recognizing' certain behaviors/treatments to be 'abusive'. . .

DO NOT READ THESE FOLLOWING EXAMPLES, IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED . . .
e.g. - beating one's feet with boards, forcing food gorging to vomiting (then eating same). . . these behaviors just landed a mother in jail for 2-6 (reported in the news yesterday) . . .

I am curious, because I had these (and many other grotesque) actions imposed on me, as an adopted child. . .

After Sunday's Open Final, Federer told reporters that since Tiger was there watching him, he felt a little pressure to perform. I think by seeing Tiger, he got an extra dose of confidence and belief in himself knowing that he is the player who dominates tennis.

So it occured to me, that before, Federer had no one to look at to get motivation and reassurance from. Whereas Nadal has his uncle, Roddick has Connors, etc. Is the absence of someone who inspires Federer's weakness?

I am currently living in the UK and I have finding it very difficult to cope. My expectations for what life in England would be like were not met. I cannot get used to the weather, and i miss the familiarity and friendliness of the people of country. Life moves too quickly here and i find many (not all) of the people here to be very rude and dismissive. I always wanted to come to England so when an opportunity to work here arose, i quickly took it. I have a good job but now i am stuck in a 2 year contract and i just dont know how much longer i can cope. I have been here for 1 year now and i have been home 4 times (it is costing me a fortune). I dont have any close friends or family here except work associates and this distance is putting a strain on my relationship with my boyfriend. I would really like to stay for the 2 years so that i dont feel like i have failed! But i am constantly unhappy and depressed. Do u think i should go back home?? I am from Jamaica.

This has happened to me 4 or 5 times. I'm at a bar and some girl is walking with attitude, and walks right by me and bumps her shoulder into me. So last time it happened I told the girl to watch where she was walking ( I can't stand being at a bar and being touched, bumped or people putting their hand on me to let me know they're coming through, wether it's a guy or girl doing it). Anyway a friend told me I shouldn't have scolded her because she just wanted me to notice her. I disagreed though I just thought she wanted everyone to know she was pissed about something. because Yeah I might notice if you try to spear me, but I'm going to think you're a *****. Who's right girls, him or me?

Once upon a time there lived a king. The king had a beautiful daughter, the PRINCESS.

But there was a problem. Everything the princess touched would melt.

No matter what;

metal,
wood,
stone,

anything she touched would melt.

Because of this, men were afraid of her. Nobody would dare marry her.

The king despaired. What could he do to help his daughter?

He consulted his wizards and magicians. One wizard told the king, "If your daughter touches one thing that does not melt in her hands, she will be cured."

The king was overjoyed and came up with a plan next day, he held a competition. Any man that could bring his daughter an object that would not melt would marry her and inherit the king's wealth.

THREE YOUNG PRINCES T OOK UP THE CHALLENGE.
The first brought a sword of the finest steel.

But alas, when the princess touched it, it melted, and the prince went away sadly.

The second prince brought diamonds.

He thought diamonds are the hardest substance in the world and would not melt.. But alas, once the princess touched them, they melted. He too was sent away disappointed.

:-[

The third prince approached. He told the princess,
"Put your hand in my pocket and feel what is in there."

The princess did as she was told, though she turned red.

! She felt something hard. She held it in her hand.

And it did not melt!!!

The king was overjoyed. Everybody in the kingdom was overjoyed. And the third prince married the princess and they both lived happily ever after.

Question: What was in the prince's pants?

They were reporting on teenage girls on the internet, how bad it is. I'm so scared of my child going on the internet now, they get exposed to such horrible things. These young girls tlak dirty to boys and share naked pics of themselves and they totally talk so terribly about other girls. It's so scary what these kids do these days. Did anyone see the show? Did anyone catch their child going to these websites? How do you monitor your children?

'Relationship'

This was part of a IM i had received after i answered a question with the best of my knowledge regarding what someone thought was a contradiction(which many things can be seen that way) I understand people feel passionate about their beliefs but when you take that passion across a line which i believe this did then you gain nothing and no one learns anything. Judging one by another's actions is plan wrong no matter what faith/religion or lack of you believe in. You can teach and learn more by showing respect to what one believes (even if you don't agree) then you can by being flat out rude, inconsiderate, close-mined, and judgmental. I may not agree with what people believe but i do try my best to listen and respect their beliefs.

To the one who wrote this i am sorry you feel so harshly against someone you don't even know. I ask you forgive me for whatever wrong doing i did unknowingly against you. I am sorry.
