Servings: 2
Time: ½ hour

* 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
* 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
* 14 oz / 400 g tin chopped tomatoes
* 7 oz / 200 g tin tuna in olive oil
* a knob of butter
* 8 oz / 200 g pasta
* 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
* salt and pepper

1. Sauté the garlic in the olive oil until it turns pale gold. Add the tinned tomatoes with their juice, stir, and simmer steadily for around 20 minutes, until the oil floats free. Turn off the heat.
2. Drain the tuna and flake it into the tomatoes, stirring to distribute it evenly. Taste for seasoning and correct for salt if necessary. Add a little freshly ground black pepper, the butter and the parsley, and mix again.
3. Toss with pasta. This goes well with most shapes, including spaghetti, casareccia, rigatoni and penne.

Enjoy!

Tuna Pasta Bake. Easy to make.
Boil up a sauce pan of water for your pasta. While thats boiling make the cheese sauce. put in 1 table spoon of butter or marg into a medium size saucepan, and melt. remove from heat and add 1 desert spoon of cornflower. The consistency of this needs to be that all the butter is mixed into the cornflower and a light paste like mixture - add a little amount of cornflower till you get this.
Put your pasta in to cook.
Put sauce back on the heat and add milk - about 1 pint for 2-3 peoples worth of pasta 11/2 - 2 pints. for 4-5 people. Continue to stir the sauce in a figure of eight - the sauce will thicken after about 7-10 minutes. If it bubbles up - turn heat down and continue to stir. Then add strong cheese to flavor. (or you can buy ready made store cheese sauce).

put oven on 190

When both pasta and sauce are ready, add tuna to the sauce stir. Put the pasta into an oven proof dish, pour over the tuna sauce. grate cheese over the top. Put into the oven until cheese is golden brown.

Serve with sweetcorn or peas or both.

ta da. Its my favorite dish.!

Easy tuna casserole: 1 can tuna, 1 bag egg noodles, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup milk, 1/2 bag frozen peas (optional), shredded cheddar cheese (optional). Boil the noodles according to the package. while waiting for the noodles, mix together the remaining ingredients(except for the cheese) and when the noodles are done, toss together with the cream sauce. Put into a baking dish and top with the shredded cheese, bake for 20 minutes at 350 until bubbly and melty. Easy and good!

Ditch the tuna, I think tuna and pasta is gross and would hate to be served it. Make a nice tomato sauce instead, you can even buy tinned, fry off some chillis/onions and mushrooms....serve with Penne Pasta, think its called Penne Arrabiata....its lovely. Tuna is for cats!

8 oz of pasta (1/2 a box) cooked & drained. Place back into pot.
Add one can of tuna, one can of condensed cream of chicken soup, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, one small can of peas.

Mix all ingredients in pot...heat until cheese is melted and is warmed all the way through. Serve.

Can't be any more easy than that!

Tuna bake - it's delicious!

All you need is tuna, ready-cooked pasta, cheese, white sauce, garlic, pepper, salt and basil. Mix all the ingredients together - chuck it into casserole dish, top with more cheeseand bake for 20 minutes on 220. Voila!

To make a white sauce:
In a small, heavy saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat.
Blend 2 tablespoons of flour into the melted butter.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Cook over low heat, stirring, for 4 to 5 minutes. Cooking for this length of time will minimize 'flour' taste.
Slowly add 1 cup of milk, stirring constantly.
Continue cooking slowly until smooth and thickened.
For thin white sauce, follow the instructions above, but use 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of flour. Thin white sauce is used in cream soups.
For thick white sauce, follow the instructions above, but use 3 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of flour. Thick white sauce is used in soufflés.
For heavy white sauce, follow the instructions above, but use 4 tablespoons of butter and 4 tablespoons of flour.
