Have you ever had a psychic reading and what did you think of it?

Yes in Cairns, Australia.. There was a little old lady in a caravan park that everyone came to see. She told me a few things that were spot on. Like describing my boyfriend and best friend she had not met. Being pretty much on the mark with my personality. As we left, no one else knew I was a couple of months pregnant, she put her hand on the lower part of my back showing me out the annex and winked saying " your children will be beautiful" (it seemed like she could see, like she just knew) I would say most are not genuine and then again you get the odd few that nobody can explain.. so I keep an open mind about it.

I get a reading once a week, it is apart of the Spiritual Church I go to.
Different Mediums give readings each week and I must say even if it takes a year to happens it does happen.
Sometimes I have just get a message to help me to think clearer about a problem I am having.
And other times it has been a message from a family member that has past over to the other side.
And I have even got a message to help me with a health issue.

Not all Psychics are true, but some people are the charmed ones the blessed ones and they can so see, i am not a psychic as in i havnt stuided cards and all that but i can so see at times fr people close to my heart and 95% of the time i am right.

Yes, I have - a few years ago by a man who ia quite famous now on some Haunted programme on tv!

He hit the spot on some very personal things. Yet he said other stuff which didn't happen at all....

These days I avoid most things psychic and learn to trust my own instincts.

I have, it was unintentional. I am a nurse and about 20 years ago,as a student, I was sitting with an elderly lady patient I was looking after. She told me that a man called Peter was sitting next to me(my cousin Peter had died a year that day), the date I passed my driving test, what car I had, that I would pass the exam I was taking the next month (MY FINALS).
She described the house that she thought I would live in when I finally setttled down from renting.
I moved to Ireland 3 years ago and the house and setting is exactly as she described.
I would go to see someone now, but they would have to be referred by someone. Its exiting if nothing else!

No I haven't but my mum has.She found it quite unnerving because the psychic said to her that she couldn't see anything because there was a brick wall in her way.My mum was thinking of a brick wall at the time so that the psychic couldn't see anything.It seemed to work.I'd like to have a psychic reading to see if they could give me a true reading.

I've always thought psychics were out of their mind, I never thought that was a "serious" business. One day, I men a German woman who knew a kind of tarot called Symbolon. I will never forget that experience, everything she told me was right, and up to nowadays the things she said are still coming true.
I must confess that despite that experience, I think they are all hustlers.

Yes, I've had a tarot reading done by someone I didn't know, and it was truly freaky.

I've had a reading done by my tarot instructor (as part of class), and it didn't really hit me one way or another.

Once when I went to Sedona, I decided to treat myself. I went to someone who claimed to draw these pictures in a trance while communing with angels about the querent. Holy crap, what a fake! It was so bad it was laughable. Either those angels were selling her a bill of goods, or she was a very untalented fake. You'd think one of her generalities would have described me or hit home. But not a one of them did.

And the little drawing I got for my $10? Pathetic. Little stick figures, lol.

There was one point during the process when she said "Oh really?" and then laughed. I wanted to ask what the hell those little cherubs were saying about me!

But her aside, I have had valid readings.

Yes I have. One day I was at the PNE in Vancouver Canada and decided to try it. I always used to think that sychics were fake. Until I got a tarot card reading. Everything she told me has come true. She told me alot of things like... I would become pregnant at the age of seventeen and that I would have a little boy. Well lol im seventeen and I gave birth to a baby boy August 13th 2006 at 11:01pm 8lbs 4oz:):) She also told me I would become ingaged to a guy with a last name thats starts with an H... im ingaged now to my boyfriend (father of my baby) whos last name is Huck.

i have had 3 so far.. they were good.. my last one was a card reading and was very good... there were things said and initals of a persons name mentioned that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand!!

I have had 2 taped ones and 1 without.

A reading from an item of mine was ok, the reader was indicating there was a woman with me who was following me.. i felt he was over the top that he thought i had lost my mother or something and was trying to find her.. but i wasnt. i couldnt understand why i have a woman following me and guiding me in life.
