I've been told that I can not only meet my tribe, but recieve some financial help. I've been to ancestry.com, and googled "finding your american indian ancestry.com" with no luck yet. It's all very confusing. Someone mentioned city hall and DNA tests? Please help, I'm lost. Thanks : )

My ex boyfriend told me not to have an abortion three times.I didnt want the baby because we had just met and he didnt seem like a stable person. Each time I made an appointment to have the abortion he talked me out of going through with it because he said he wanted another child and called me a baby killer. After emotional abuse and once physical abuse towards our baby and myself I began to realize the idea to have another child was a revenge against his ex wife. Then a friend of my boyfriend told me that he told him he never wanted Terrence and I was the one who insisted on have the baby. Now in a custody-visitation battle I want supervised visitation and full custody. I dont believe that this ex boyfriend of mine is mentally stable and would be a bad father. Do you agree that I should keep our son away from this person who only wants to hurt people. He also has had to take Anger Managment classes twice and is on probation for living with me after he physically hurt my son and I.

My boyfriend has talked on aol to his EX GFs in the past, not just talked but liek talking about what it would be like if they were still together and flirting with them and even asking them to come over and calling them names like hun. I know this for a fact because they have showed me the converstions. It has happened numerous times, I have called him on it and we almost broke up cuz it, this was a year ago. and now he is doing it AGAIN. but i cant seem to break up with him after 3 years. why not? what should i do? please help me

my ex and i have mutual friends. i saw him a party and pretty sure he saw me too. it's been years since we last saw each other and i thought we were cool. well it seems like he has a pattern of avoiding me or pretending that i'm not around whenever we run into get together like this. i remember talking to him in the past over the phone and he seemed fine and i thought we could still be good friends inspite of everything. but again, when we're in person, he's totally different. i am puzzled and disappointed. i really wanted to say hi but i was waiting for a little approach--it was his family's party after all. i know i'll be seeing him again and i just really want to get this awkwardness over with. so, i appreciate your thoughts on this.

I am a lesbian. Given recent political discussions involving gay marriage, I am particularly sensitive (and a bit resentful) of the fact that I cannot LEGALLY marry my partner in this country. Yet I watch my straight friends and colleagues getting married regularly.

One of my closest (straight) friends got married over the summer, and I did not attend, because I did not feel comfortable going to help her celebrate something that I myself cannot do in this country. The idea just makes me feel icky inside.

However, because we are close friends, she felt that I should be there anyway, given that it was such an important day for her--and that I was judging her and being unfair to her. She ended our friendhship because of this issue.

I am Married to a wonderful woman. She is moving to California for her work in October of this year. I will not be moving with her, but feel the need to help her find a friend that is a Female. She has enough Male friends that she works with. She is a closet Bi. She has the feelings for other Females, but is afraid to go their because of her work. She has mention this feeling to me before, but is not willing to explore them. She is smart, attractive(I think so), strong willed and funny. She will be moving to Sunnyvale in October, but don't have an apartment yet. Her company is putting her up for the month until she finds a place of her own. I will, more than likely, visit her every few months throughout the year, but will not be living with her because my job is in an other state.
