You have a few different options. The one that will work best for you depends on how thick the hair is, how much there is and how much you can afford to spend on removal. The cheapest route to go is a product like nair (make sure you get the kind for the face). You can also try to wax the hair yourself (I don't recommend it) or you can go to a spa and have it done for you. A more expensive option would be electrolysis or laser hair removal. While it does cost quite a bit of money, it is permanent. I don't recommend shaving it.

PCOS perhaps? Not that it matters but that is a classic sign. Spironolactone is very successful at thinning this overgrowth. But it will take months and if you quit it will return. The cream Vaniqua(not as good) is another prescription option BUT since this is usually indicative of too much male hormone floating around in your body Probably dealing with that would be your best bet; although it is often found in women with dark hair and is prevalent in some ethnic groups as well.. See your OB or a dermatologist...

I keep seeing commercials about Vaniqua. "Do you want your unwanted facial hair gone?" etc. You put it on your face for a 8 weeks, I think. I believe it's supposed to at least reduce hair growth. I don't know if it will go away completely. It probably depends on how thick it grows, too. You could try that before going to something expensive like electryosis. (sp?)

You can try using Nair, sugar wax, or regular waxing. The only drawback to waxing is that it is painful and you will have to wait for your hair to grow out at least 1/4 of an inch in order to wax. You can use Nair whenever and it usually lasts a few days to a week depending on your hair growth.

They can remove it with laser now. It will take several treatments, but the problem will be gone for GOOD.

Laser is the best. You probably need to see a dermatologist.
