it is english ivy, but be careful if you are planning on planting it. It can easily take over an entire yard, then good luck getting rid of it.

English Ivy will, but it is very aggressive and can take over or cause you to have to cut it back often. I think it is kind of messy looking too. Boston Ivy is prettier and not as aggressive. Those are the only two ivies I know that climb walls, etc. Good luck.

If you do not have a wall or trellis ivy can go crazy.........so either use a trellis if you want control...........but if you have a wall to cover let it go (It will find it's own way up or over). It is also great for covering a stone barer,,,,or block retaining wall. Hope this helped.

Any Philodendrom or Hedera (ivy) that has aerial roots will climb a wall. you are not limited to English Ivy.

I am sure you are thinking of English Ivy. You see that everywhere. Another good type of climber is Trumpet Vine. It grows fast and is VERY hardy!

English ivy will do this. It will also remove the pointings between bricks (causing the bricks to loosen and come out). But it is pretty!
