If you are... Why are you? What is your reason?
If you are not... Why are you not? What are your reasons?

Do you believe that people are nice for the sake of being nice, or nice or decent or kind, to either show themselves as better than... socially, or to get a desired, preconceived responce from them in exchange for their kindness. Almost as if it were some kind of currency.

I believe that MOST people show effection and kindness and decency BECAUSE... and with the intent of getting it back.
After all, what good is it, if it is only reserved for those you KNOW will give it in return? and you treat everyone else like crap (usually in the exact same way you accuse) because you know they wont be nice to you ahead of time?

What do you think?
Personally, I'm not an overly gushing or "nice" or kind person, because there is nothing I want from you and I have nothing to prove to you and I dont give a rats butt if that makes you better than I am.

Whats in a name? My business partner and I can't agree on a name for the classes we run for preschoolers. They go for 1 hour in local primary schools & in our office. They cover all the things that children need to know for school & help them develop confidence, social skills, fine motor skills as well as accelerated learning in maths and literacy.

There's this girl at my school that keeps on asking me if i asked anyone out for the homecoming dance. Her freind keeps asking me if i would ask her out. . her brother keeps on saying she likes me. So after alot of thought, i wanted to ask her to the home coming but as soon as i was just about to ask her, some other dumb a#$ comes and talks to her. He doesn't ask her out though. Just normal talk. But she keeps on smiling and laughing when he makes some stupid jokes or does idiotic things. ( Like drinking snifing pixie sticks)


Whats should my approach be to ask her out. How should i ask her?

The lady I work with seems to think that she is so far above me that I am not suppose to question anything she does or says. I acutally have more experince and training in our line of work.
it is in a hospital and to protect the patients, I feel I have to say something at times.

In this case we're looking at the probability that life exists outside our solar system based on the likelihood that there exists an environment like ours that could support life. My bio teacher is single and looking. I'm only taking one class with her, and the semester will be over in December (not too far off). A few weeks ago, she told us that she was having her birthday, and that it's a "big one". I am going to be closing my inground pool for the first time this year. I watched a company do it last fall, so I have a pretty good idea what to do. However, they had a machine to blow out the lines from the filter to the pool. What can I use to do that myself. I have heard using a shop-vac on reverse, however I don't know if I will be able to create a good seal between the pipe and the shop-vac, or if it is even strong enough. Any suggestions?

I am having problems transporting music from my computer to a blank cd. I have windows xp but have an error on the media software that will not allow to do the above. I have been told other software maybe better and easy to use but which one? Can you help suggest a free software that will allow me to copy my music onto cd.
